About Me

Hi my name is Mia and I'm an artist in Portree on the Isle Of Skye. My paintings are primarily devoted to castles, ruins, and architecture. Animal commissions are also one of my specialities.

My favourite way to paint old structures and buildings is with very vibrant colours, making them stand out on any wall and capture the beauty of buildings that have been standing for many years. I love spicing up any old or new structure with flamboyant colours.

It has been my passion to do art for many years. I always enjoyed scribbling on paper and i eventually decided to mess with some paint and soon realised just how much I enjoyed working with acrylics and contrasting such bold colours.

    The Castle is found in Dunvegan, looking out at the Dunvegan Loch. The Castle has been occupied by the same family for 800 years, and is the ancestral seat of the Clan MacLeod.

    Eilean Donan Castle is located outside of Dornie before reaching the Skye Bridge. The castle has been featured in many movies and is known for it's gorgeous view and interiors.
