Slate's Plates

Just a small town boy, born and raised just south of Boston, who seemed to be taking trains anywhere and everywhere, first to CT, then DC, then to Ghana, West Africa, and now I'm a dad making meals for two and a half people on the reg in Chicago, IL, and I ain't got tons of time for a ton of ingredients and complicated recipes. I mean I enjoy making "complicated" things sometimes for celebrations, but I more often than not prefer "minimalist-esk cooking," and I am committed to show peeps who are down that they can cook too. Let's get our cook on!
