Policies

Please read before booking.

-No extra guest allowed during appointments.

-All new clients wanting to book for new hair extensions and/or hair colour, must have had a consultation done prior to their appointment.

-A minimum of 60% deposit must be paid before booking. The deposit will go towards your total, unless interference with the cancelation policy.

-All deposits are non-refundable. However, appointment date and time may be rescheduled prior to the 24 hour cancellation period.

-All hair extension orders must be installed, or made into custom clip-in extensions. If rescheduling is needed the hair extension orders can be held in salon for a maximum of 6 months (from when they were ordered) or your deposit and hair order will be forfeited.

-There is a 1 week grace period for any complimentary adjustments to be done to any hair colouring services and/or hair extension services. Clients hair may need to be evaluated, in order to determine if a complimentary fix is appropriate. It is the client’s responsibility to make any issues known to their stylist.

-Bead fixes are available and complementary for up to 5 beads.

-There is a 15 minute grace period if you are late to your appointment. After 30 minutes, your appointment will be marked as a no-show. You may loose your deposit or have to pay a rebooking fee of $50 before your next appointment.

-Cancellations, please give a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to scheduled appointments. However, more notice is appreciated.

-If a client cancels within 24 hours of their appointment, the deposit will be lost OR they will be required to send a new deposit before being able to re-book. If a client No-Shows they will be required to send an additional $50 non refundable deposit on top of their total in order to rebook with HairSlayed Ltd. .

-Clients daily responsibilities in maintaining the hair extensions are as recommended in the hair care guide: Refer to the hair care guide.

-Clients are responsible for the maintenance and aftercare of their hair extensions. Any damage due to poor maintenance of the hair extensions is not Hair Slayed responsibility to fix or replace complimentary.

-Any known allergies are the clients responsibility to be communicated to your
stylist prior to any hair services.

-Video and photographic records during appointments are being collected and may posted to Hair Slayed website and social media accounts. If you object to having your likeness captured, it is your responsibility to notify the videographer or photographer prior to each appointment.

-Hair Extensions are under no circumstances, refundable nor replaceable once ordered.

-By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all of our policies.

Extensions Hair Care Guide —

How to maintain your extensions at home for longevity

- Apply oil to mids and ends Daily. I recommend the Davines oil.

- Brush your hair extensions Daily.

- Wash no more than 1-2 times a week. For shampoo and conditioner I recommend the Amika Velveteen or Amika Normcore

- Apply a moisturizing mask from mids to ends, away from your roots. I recommend Amika Soulfood mask.

- Use a salon professional leave- in conditioner after washing and before brushing and blow drying. I recommend United 7 seconds.

- Blow dry wefts till completely dry to avoid matting.

- Sleep with a silk pillow case or silk cap (bonnet).

- Use a thermal heat protectant when heat styling. I recommend Olaplex Volumizing Heat Protective Spray.

- Use a maximum of 280 degrees on styling tools.

- Avoid using Sun Screen with the ingredient Avobenzone (especially blondes). This will leave a yellow pink tint in the extensions.

- Avoid Chlorine water, and salt water in the hair. If you have to, rinse hair extensions immediately after.

- Use salon professional hair products that are free of Sulfates, Parabens, etc.

- Get a tightening every recommended 3-6 weeks (microbead, beaded sew-in).

- Get a re-install every recommended 6 months (microbead, beaded sew-in).

-Get a re- install every 2-3 months (other extension methods).
