Slow Cooked Selfies

I draw faces (and other things too).
I use pencils.
It’s what I love to do.

My slow cooked selfies are contemporary portraits drawn by hand and made with love.

I liken them to a slow cooked meal in a time of fast food selfie gratification! Each selfie is ‘cooked’ for around 10 hours to capture the essence and character of each special person.

If you would like to commission a slow cooked selfie of your own, well it’s very simple. Just send me some high resolution photos of the person (or pet!) you would like me to capture (kids, mum or dad, partner, colleague, special friend, nana or pa, fur baby, or even yourself)! I work from photos so there’s no need to sit for hours.

The original signed artwork you will receive is 210 x 297mm (A4) and drawn on high quality acid proof 220gsm art paper. Portraits come mounted on A3 (297 x 420mm) mat board and make a lovely gift. Framing options are also available at an additional cost.

Cost of individual portraits are $280. Allow a 1-2 week turnaround to ensure your selfie is cooked slowly and with care.
