Slow Stir Foods crafts seasonal and low-to-no added sugar food in jars, currently offering award winning California made preserves and nut butters. The main ingredients are fruits and nuts cultivated by ethical growers across the state whom the owner and maker, Catherine, has the pleasure of learning from and developing relationships with. Our colorful selection of familiar and unique condiments are seasonally and culturally inspired, then thoughtfully prepared in ways that boost the flavors of the featured ingredients. With a nod to tradition and the classics but with modern twists, all products are handmade in small batches. Our unique preserves are made over a multi-day process with just three simple elements: organically and sustainably grown farm fresh fruit, minimal certified organic or all natural sugars (or plant based sugar substitutes), herbs and spices. The nut butters are pure and simple: made with all natural seeds or nuts and may include locally sourced raw wildflower honey, kosher sea salt and spice. Enjoy the condiments straight from the jar or as sweet and savory pairings that enhance your daily meals, snacks and recipes. Jam, preserves and nut butters are often savored by the spoonful, dolloped and slathered generously on something you can sink your teeth into.
