“Son de Amor” 🏝🎶❤️ started off as just a fun time that slowly evolved into something more with every song. “Son” is a Spanish word that translates to more than just “sound” (sonido)…it is a mixture of African/European (AKA: Caribbean) rhythms and elements that fuse together - usually using Congas, Bongos and Guiro - and often accompanies couples enticing them to dance closely with subtle sensuality. That is what we tried to capture in this album. We wanted to share the music and songs that brought us together with you all in hopes that they will bring a little joy and love into a world that is so desperately in need. Our hope is that as you listen to the songs you are taken to a new place through the fusion of musical genres and production styles 🎹🎸🪘🎷 , that the lyrics help you connect with your loved ones in a special way ✍🏼and that you become overwhelmed with the feeling to want to get up and dance with us! 💃🏽🕺🏾
