About Spice Belly Dancer

Spice Belly Dancer is a Malaysian-Punjabi born Belly Dance instructor based in London, UK. She has tried several dance styles throughout her life but Raqs Sharqi a.k.a. Oriental/Belly Dance has always been the one that brought out the fire in her.
From the music, the sound of the drum and instrument's as well as its gorgeous movements - it was organic. She knew it made her feel a certain type of way. Her spark and obsession continues to be revved up with her long-term relationship with Belly Dance. She has also trained in some Tribal Fusion Belly Dance which she also loves to fuse with alongside her Oriental Dance background.
She absolutely loves teaching, contributing her personal style and her knowledge of Belly Dance to others. She gets the pleasure from seeing her students progress over time and fall in love with Belly Dance too.
She offers private and group Classes both Online and In person in London, UK & International students.

1. Beginners Technique Training & Combo :
Enjoy in-depth Oriental Dance learning at your own pace.
You'll learn the basic fundamental techniques to explore your belly dancing journey! We will go hard on refining your Technique with fun & challenging drills each lesson. Fine tune whatever that needs more work on & grow from there.
Get to know big juicy fluid movements to small intricate moves as well as super smooth shapes to sharp locking accents & isolations.
Learn how to connect your body movements to the beautiful & fun beats that music has to offer with time & practice. You'll be able to stay in shape through dance & improving your posture, muscles & coordination.
Learn a Choreography (optional). We will put movements into a sequence based on everything we learn.
Each week, I will mix things up so that there's plenty of excitement and learning.

2. Belly Dance Cardio :
incorporates fast paced movements to get your heart rate up to ensure you're burning calories, getting fitter & sweating it out! Great for those who want a workout via dance.
Shimmies, full body movements, some fun challenging moves & isolations to get your body to work! Every week we will mix it up with some fusion as well to keep it entertaining & different alongside music that makes you motivated to dance your heart out.

3. Slow Flow Belly Dance :
This Slow Flow class is focused on Belly Dance Technique that are more fluid, gentle on the body, joints & muscles. Low impact. Create beautiful shapes with your body in a relaxed pace. Suitable for those who just want to de-stress, move their body, improve posture & grace as some usually have jobs that require them to sit most of the time.

This class incorporates technique that helps

- provide a low impact gentle workout
- good for those who are not so used to being active, have jobs that require you to sit most of the time & would like to slowly start moving more again
