Hiiii! First let me say thank you for showing interest in my page! I’m Lauren and I’m the nail artist behind Stay Polished. I’ve been working as a licensed nail tech for almost 10 years. I specialize in structured gel manicures and nail art.

Maintaining great nail health and integrity while having a kick ass gel manicure is my #1 priority. I truly love what I get to do everyday! I'm blessed with an amazing clientele, so right now my books are closed to new regular clients but while you’re here fill out my waitlist for the best way to become a client!

Books are closed, how do I get in?

The best and only way to get an appointment is by getting on the waitlist.

Due to such high demand, a time frame is not put on the waitlist, or when an opening may become available.

If you’ve had your nails done at Stay Polished in the past but haven't visited in 6 or more months, you will be considered a new client, and will have to sign yourself up on the waitlist.

When an opening becomes available I will reach out to the first person on the waitlist that fits my availability. All new clients are required to pay a $25 deposit and leave a card on file in order to book an appointment. An invoice will be sent via email and must be completed in order to book your appointment. Your deposit will go towards your service.

I require all new clients to come in with bare, clean nails to their first appointment.

I do not remove any foreign product (work not done by me)

How do I cancel or reschedule?

I get it, stuff comes up. I will be more than happy to reschedule or cancel your appointment but any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Texting me is the best and fastest way to reach me—401.241.6376

What happens if I’m running late?

Always text me ahead of time if you are going to be late. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be altered or canceled and you will be required to pay for your service.
*If you are continually late it may lead to grounds for no further scheduling.

Ehh I don’t feel good but I’m fine to get my nails done

Nooooo! Please no. If you are sick, or have any symptoms please let me know to cancel/reschedule your appointment. If you come to your appointment and appear to be sick, I will cancel your appointment and you will be required to pay for your service. Please be considerate to me and everyone else in the salon.

I need your full attention while doing your nails. Try and keep cell phone usage to a
minimum. Distractions only make the
appointment longer and harder for me to
work efficiently. I don't want to constantly
be asking for your other hand or waiting for you to be done looking at your phone.

SERVICES

structured gel manicure

a structured gel mani is a hard gel base that allows me to give the natural nail added structure & strength. it's consistency is a little different than your basic gel—it provides more strength, durability & structure which is ideal when wanting to grow out your natural nails or to just maintain a beautiful shape
*no length is added, product goes over natural nail length

hard gel overlay/fill

An overlay is similar to a structured gel mani but an additional hard gel builder will be applied to the natural nail plate. This will provide maximum strength, structure and durability to your natural nail. This service will require a fill every 2 or 3 weeks to maintain balance and structure to your nails.
*no length is added, product goes over natural nail length

hard gel full set

A hard gel full set is adding your desired length and shape to your natural nail length using a hard gel builder. This service is 100% gel, no plastic tips or glue are used to add length. This type of gel is the same hard gel used in an overlay however this service gives you the ability to add length using nail forms. You will be required to maintain your nails every 2-3 weeks for a fill to maintain structure and balance to your nails.

I offer complimentary repairs up to 4 days after your last appointment. Please notify me within 4 days of your service.

If you break your nail length in between appointments, I can add length to your broken nail if you would like to maintain your length. Length will be created with a form and hard gel.

Nail Care

healthy nails are happy nails :)

Do not pick or peel off any product! Tempting it may be, this will cause severe damage to your nail plate and could mean you can’t have any products applied to your nails until the damage has grown out. If your nails are damaged it effects adhesion of any future products applied—even if it was only one time.

Return for treatment every 2/3 weeks to maintain good health and balance to the natural nail. I strongly advise to go no longer than 3 weeks between appointments. The longer you go between appointments the more likely to have lifting or breaks.

It is really important to wear rubber gloves during any household/gardening chores. Always wash and dry your hands thoroughly after any direct contact with chemicals, chlorine or self tanner.

CUTICLE OIL! If you love getting your nails done make this product your best friend. Dry nails will curl and pull away from nail products. Healthy nails are happy nails!

Use your cuticle oil twice daily at a minimum. This will help to stimulate growth and keep your nail and surrounding skin hydrated. You can purchase these from me at your appointments.
