Community Groundwork is an organization that educations and connects students to resources in politics. As a student, I had trouble getting started onto a political path, but thanks to community groundwork I was able to become educated about what it means to be part of a political campaign, how to network, how to become more confident, and find a mentor to help guide me in my future career. This is an awesome resource!

Green Peace is an organization that I became involved with after participating in Community Groundwork. This organization focuses on making environmental change at a national level while cooperating peacefully with international networks. They promote the dangers of climate change and provide resources to get involved in fighting against organizations that are ignorant to reality. They have several activist volunteer opportunities.

I am very passionate about women’s rights and planned parenthood is a great opportunity to get involved. They have so many campaigns and platforms that seek equality and justice for women’s reproductive rights. In order to get involved you may need to make an account and sign up to a part of your local planned parenthood community.
