I’ve never not had a dog — usually several dogs — as a pet, unless you count the first ten days of my life. Throughout college, I volunteered walking dogs at a no-kill shelter nearly every weekend. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for and adopting dogs (as small as a chihuahua and as large as a great dane), cats (from kittens to cranky adult strays), ferrets (of all ages), hedgehogs and more.

As a dog & ferret momma, I already care for & walk my own furbabies on a daily basis. I pay attention to how they communicate, and I’m always the first one in the household to know if someone needs to potty or if they feel hungry or just want to play or be held. As a professional sitter, I take on clients as they fit into my work (and personal) schedule.

That said, don’t worry. My husband will be looking after my babies. 🏡

I work remotely, so if there's wifi I can use, I can stay in a client's home without leaving for work — unless you’d prefer me to not stay over.

In general, I try not to be gone for more than two hours at a time when I have several overnight days, and if I’m just sitting for a few hours, I don’t leave at all. ♥

Yes. As you can probably imagine, 30 years is a lot of time to have spent around animals. I have experience administering oral and I.V. treatments.

Additionally, I can brush your pup’s teeth if it’s needed.

I sure can! I love playing with and giving pets attention: tug of war, walks, fetch, swimming, etc!

I can take them to the beach if you like or just walk them down the street.

That said, I understand that some pets have restrictions, such as no walks or heavy playing. I’ll do my best to follow your instructions with this. :)

Absolutely not! All pets deserve love and care, and I have plenty of experience with small, medium, large and extra-large pets. ♥
