Chapter One
I woke up in a cold dark room with no idea where I was. My first instinct was to search for a door but I heard something, it was quiet and subtle and kinda cute. I decided I didn't want to know what it was so I kept searching for the door. The door knob was cold and hard to turn but as I opened it I could see a hotel hallway which was strange since I wasn't in a hotel when I fell asleep. I decided to walk down the hallway to see what I could find. I found out that a few of the doors had names on them. The ones I could see were: Annalise, Ivy, Nina and Ethan. And as I walked further none of the doors were labelled, they were just black. As I got to the elevator I heard the noise from earlier so I turned around to see what it was, it was this blue bat creature with purple wings and it decided to follow me into the elevator.
"Hiii, my name is Bella!" It said enthusiastically.
"I'm Stella as you could probably tell by the door I came out of," I replied
I wasn't sure I could trust Bella but I let her stay with me anyway.

When we were in the cold elevator I had a look around and on the side wall there was a sentence engraved in huge letters, it said "Let them out of the rooms, help them!"
I quickly pressed the button to open the doors and I ran back down the hallway but this time I heard screaming. I tried opening the doors and nothing happened so I started to kick them down. I got the first door open, it was Nina's room. When I opened the door and saw her, her face was covered in tears and she had small scratch marks all over her arms and legs.
"What happened?" I asked her
"I had to live through my worst nightmare." She said in tears.
I took her to a seat in the hallway, and she and Bella sat there together while I went to the next door. Nina had long dark brown hair and green eyes, she was a few centimetres taller than me and wearing a grey shirt with black tights her pronouns are she/they.

I went to Ethan's room next since it was the closest. Ethan was the same height as Nina with short dark brown hair and blue eyes and his pronouns are he/his. He decided to help me with Ivy's room since he was apparently okay. When we found her she showed us a huge bruise on her back and asked us if we had anything to help her. Ivy was a little bit shorter than me with black hair and hazel eyes and their pronouns were she/they. Annalise's room was next, we could still hear screaming from her room, Ethan didn't go in this time, it was only me. Annalise had a broken ankle and cuts and bruises all down her arms and legs. She had long and curly light brown hair with brown eyes and her pronouns are she/her.

Soon after we were all back at the chair we decided to make our way to the elevator to check out the floor below us but the whole time I was wondering why I didn't have any injuries and didn't remember anything from before I woke up. Ethan and I helped Annalise get there because of her ankle.

When the elevator opened we walked into what looked like a massive indoor playground in the middle and two different places with slides on each side. On the right side there was a playground slide leading into a pool and on the left side there were five slides next to each other. We went into the playground and started to look for a first aid kit or something like that. It was cold and dark there but there was a light down the hallway. We were able to find a creepy security office with the lights flickering and it had a small first aid kit that didn’t have too many things to help us but it was better than nothing.

We used a bandage for Annalise's ankle since there was nothing stronger, we put a small ice pack on Ivy’s back to help the bruise. I could hear strange noises coming from upstairs and I could smell the chlorine from the pool. We looked down the hallway near the security office to see a strange figure approaching quickly. It was huge with spikes all over and glowing red eyes, everyone rushed to the elevator as it started to get faster, faster, faster. My heart was pounding out of my chest. We pressed the button to the top floor hoping it would be safe there. The aircon was blasting and that mixed with my nerves it was freezing. I had only seen things like that in my nightmares.

When we got to the top floor, all the lights were on. There were about twenty five of them on the ceiling and one lamp in each corner; there were multiple switches for each section next to the elevator doors. The floor was a huge open space with the left wall and the wall straight ahead from the elevator made out of glass windows, in the corner of the back wall and the right wall was the kitchen which was quite big, Next to the kitchen was a massive supply closet. Everyone gathered in the back left corner while I went over to the kitchen area. I opened the supply closet to find that it was empty except for enough pillows and blankets for each of us and a massive first aid box with everything we needed, band aids, bandages, gauze, you name it the box had everything but ice packs. I opened up the fridge and found nice cold water and in the freezer there were more than twenty ice packs and plenty of ice. It was like it was planned for us to find this floor so soon.

The kitchen also had a pantry which was filled with canned foods: canned beef, canned soup, canned beans, canned vegetables, canned rice and so many more that would take me all day to list. We looked outside and it was dark, that combined with the fact that everyone was hungry made us come to the conclusion that it was dinner time so I heated up some beef with rice and vegetables using the microwave for the rice and the stove for the rest, the microwave had a time on it but were weren't too sure if it was right, it read: 17:34 which is equivalent to 5:34pm.

After dinner we talked for hours getting to know each other, I found out that Ivy has two little sisters, one was ten and the other was seven. The ten year old was named Isla and the seven year old was named Iris, her parents must like I names. Nina had an older brother named Sam who was seventeen, Ethan had no siblings and Annalise had two younger sisters who were seven year old twins. And everyone had at least a cat for a pet, some also had a dog.

I was terrified to sleep so I waited until the last possible moment when I was too tAired to do anything else, Bella stayed up to make sure nothing happened. I woke up in the morning after a nightmare or at least what I thought was the morning. The microwave said it was 9:30 but it looked the same as last night outside. It kinda smelt like a campfire but it was still cool from the aircon. I was second to Ethan in waking up and Bella woke up not long after. Once everyone was up Ivy decided to heat up food for everyone.

Ivy was that fun and enthusiastic person, it was fun just being around her. Bella is absolutely adorable but I'm still not sure if I can trust her. Ethan has been exploring this whole floor since we found it and hasn't talked to us much. Nina enjoys reading but we don't have any interesting books here so she's been reading a first aid manual and every time I see her reading it I laugh a little bit but it's good since now we have someone that knows what they are doing in first aid, I've just watched all of Grey’s anatomy multiple times. Annalise is one of those kind girls that makes friends with only some people.

Chapter Two
Ivy made us peanut butter toast which was amazing, I've never tried this peanut butter brand before and I'm surprised there even was any here. After breakfast I convinced Ivy to come with me to the floor. We woke up to check out my room and see if there was a phone or something. When we got to the floor it seemed colder than yesterday, we decided to stay close and only go in my room unless they were comfortable going in someone else's.

My room was freezing and still dark but there was a small window that let in the smallest bit of light, so we decided to start looking through stuff. There was a small dresser and a small desk across from one of those dressing desk things with a mirror on top. All of the draws were empty except one in the mirror desk which had: a phone, a torch, a partly broken charger and some weird glowing orb thing. The phone only had twenty five percent so we tried to charge it with the half dead charger. I brought it over to the power point but while I did so Ivy picked up the orb thing.
“Put it down, it could be dangerous,” - Stella
“It’s fine, it wouldn’t be here if we weren't meant found it,” - Ivy
She put the orb down and decided she would plug in the charger. It wouldn't work so she sent me outside the room to get something metal to conduct the electricity and after a small argument I finally went searching.

I walked back into the room and gave them the only thing I could find, a fork. They stuck it in the powerpoint as I yelled out not to but then suddenly they started glowing blue but stopped after a few seconds.
“What the hell just happened?” - Stella
“Why would you think I know, I'm guessing it's because I held the orb,” - Ivy said, shaking.
Ivy picked up the phone and it was instantly charged so they tried to shoot lightning as a joke, and somehow it worked. I walked over to the orb and picked it up, I touched the window and started glowing yellow. Once the glowing stopped I focused on making light so we could see in the room better. The light started as a ball and kept getting bigger and brighter.
“I'm guessing you have electricity powers and mine are light based which is weird since your name is Ivy, a plant.” - Stella
“We have to bring the orb to the others!” - Ivy
“Are you crazy, we don’t even know what is happening, if everyone gets these ‘magical powers’ then it will be utter chaos!” - Stella
