More about us...

Streetlight Curfew

Who knew Nashville was pop punk AF?
We did.

Our group was born out of five Nashville Natives who started making music more than 10 years ago. Out of various other projects we came together with a vision to create music we wished we were hearing, and we have. We’ve released two EPs and two singles, with our first full length album dropping later this spring.

We have 3 guitar players, two vocalists, a bassist and drummer in our group but we don’t limit ourselves to strings and percussion. We’ve brought in various other instruments and musicians to help us round out our sound into some magical, mystical, new fashioned post-punk.

Let us show you the happy-hardcore side of music city.

“Turning is for Tables pt 2” (Don’t Sleep)

Has Turning pt2 got you asking, “Hey, where’s Turning pt1?” This is an easter egg on our newest album for our oldest fans. Turning pt1 is a song we released with an older project named Never Let Go. Today’s lineup of Streetlight Curfew has 3/5 of the original members of Never Let Go so we wanted to throw back with this track!

Our fave local bands  —

Who’s on our local music playlist?

Wanna listen to who we listen to? Check out everyone from our best friends to our biggest inspirations below:

Panda Forces

If you’re looking for a pop music dream team, look no further than our buddies Panda Forces. Don’t take their stickers seriously, Panda Forces is far from “So Basic,” and we can prove it because we featured the incomparable Lauren Howard on our new song “Autumn”! Follow them on all social media, you’re missing out if you don’t!

“Weatherbox” should be your new favorite song!

Cabin Color

If you’re looking for high energy, exciting lyrics, and a singer you would literally die for, Cabin Color may be for you. Just kidding, Cabin Color is *definitely* for you, no matter what you think you’re looking for. They have it. I promise. Just listen to Cabin Color.

Aconundrum

Aconundrum is here to make your day and save your soul for an eternity of skating on cloud tops under the stars. At least that’s how Josh’s voice will make you feel. Backed by the best guitar we’ve heard here lately and a drummer and bassist who are too entertaining for their own good, Aconundrum is the greatest band you’ve never heard of. So let’s change that.

Help Aconundrum take over the world here!

Papa Fresco

Papa Fresco is a group that hopefully you’re lucky enough to encounter early on in this whole music making process we’re all involved with. A band of 5 members that are all more captivatingly talented than the last, and definitely a hard act to follow. Papa Fresco stands alone as a one man act with an acoustic guitar, and it stands as a group of five people bringing down the house. From melodic riffs that get stuck in your head, to lyrics you wake up thinking about, Papa Fresco is what Music City needed, and doesn’t deserve.

Indigo Zebras

Indigo Zebras is a group you wish you were. Watching them on stage is like a trip down memory lane but *better* because, let’s be honest, none of us were this good back then. A pop-punk dream come true, Indigo Zebras will make you dance, once you pick your jaw up off the floor. These guys rock.

Strif Dogs

Strif Dogs is everything you hope it’s going to be and more. Two guys, a laptop, a guitar, and a bass are making more magic than anyone we’ve seen here lately. A Strif Dogs show is truly the best kept secret in Nashville. They’re hard to catch, but check out their social media below and maybe we’ll get lucky.

What is our recording process like?

Cameron Reddick and Will Ulmer are working together to complete our full length album, which will be entirely recorded in home studios and self produced! Not bad for some ish that we’ve had on TWO local radio stations!
