Subcontinental Drift Boston (SubDrift) is an intergenerational creative community that emerged within the South Asian diaspora out of a need to tell our own stories in 2012. We build community through the arts, and are part of a growing national movement that strives to build an inclusive, forward-looking diaspora. All religions, castes, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, multi-racial, adoptee, and other intersecting identities are welcome!

For 12+ years we have been hosting monthly open mics, writing workshops, and other programming to foster artistic expression, collaboration, and innovation. By curating supportive platforms for us to tell our own stories, we strive to uplift diverse voices, facilitate transformative collaborations, and build collective power.
