My name is Valentin Ivan Boutym!
pronounced Val-in-teen Ee-vahn Boo-teem

Growing up Russian/Ukrainian in the US, immersing myself in different cultures has been something that I’ve always been passionate about. I was blessed to have been embraced by the southeast Asian community where I learned even more about how beautiful and uniquely different we are yet so similar. Having been a competitive gymnast/power tumbler since I could walk, structure and discipline have paved the way for me to prioritize overall balance through meditation, eating clean, and grounding myself in nature.

My love for hair started in kindergarten when I became fascinated with the different ways in which people expressed themselves through their hair. The way most of us feel about ourselves with how our hair makes or breaks our confidence was something I deeply wanted to figure out. That was the moment I realized I came to this planet to help myself and others express our unique authenticity through hair, art, and music.

I specialize in lived-in color, balayage, color melts, inbred, vivid colors, gray blending, specialty cuts, and fades. I also offer Brazilian Blowoyt, K18 treatments, and Olaplex treatments. But I will say, I am not one to shy away from a challenge and am always open to learning and growing alongside you in order to create a masterpiece. I follow my intuition with all of my guests for a very personal look and experience. My love and passion for hair speaks in the work that I create.

One of my biggest passions is reminding myself and others to obtain inner peace, embrace infinite love, and see the beauty that lies within us all.
