“My name is Evangela Antonio.
I was born in Beaufort, Sabah in 1994. My first experiences as an artist was when I'm 5 years-old.
My influences were Leonardo Da Vinci who creates the Masterpiece of "Monalisa Paintings".
It was here that I realized that I wanted to pursue my career in this field.
I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do an not learned at school, I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self learning studying the works of Leonardo Da Vinci as my teachers.
It was here that I furthered expanded on my knowledge in painting history where now I'm known as "The Art Lady".
I work primarily in oil paints, watercolors, acrylic paints, graphite pencils, charcoal and pastels.
I started my work as freelance artist and travels in many different places in Sabah and now expanding my artworks in Peninsular Malaysia.
I believe my artistic journey and artworks are gifts to be shared. With that in mind I started my studio from home-office in Sipitang into a 1,500 square foot Art Gallery & Workshop in downtown Kudat.
I named it "Dewi Shieykien House of Art & Gallery" which now known as "Sumandak Artworks" where I paint onsite and welcome over 2,000 visitors per month. I display and sell my own work and open an Arts Class with different topic, for those who interested.
My art gallery also include artworks from other artists such as Jiandy Artworks, the woods-craft Art, and Samodku Arts the handmade crafts made by The Villagers.

My Best Selling brands is #CustomadeArt which achieves more than RM10,000 sales in a month.

My Very Special Murals is the one that i dedicates to Children of Cancers Fighter in Children Ward, Hospital Likas, Sabah.

In 2016 I've been nominated as
"the Most-Known Painter"
for my Murals Art in various Government buildings all over Sabah.
In 2018, my Henna Art has been labels as "the Most Details Mendhi" & "the Highest Request Henna Services"
in Bridal Mendhi Competition held in Centre Point Mall, Kota Kinabalu.
