I believe our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made. We were made to birth our babies. Physiological birth is my passion. I am constantly learning and supporting birth. As well as birthing on my own terms!

My first birth was a horrible experience at 19, with the obstetric model, relying on their wisdom to guide me completely surrendering my autonomy. I ended up having a c/section. Not able to breastfeed. Feeling defeated.

5 years later I was terrified of the same thing happening so I decided to start researching natural birth and healthy pregnancies.
I had a hospital vbac and was induced. Better than the first, but .... Not as great as it could be.

When covid hit I was horrified to go to the hospital. I worried my husband wouldn't be able to accompany me! We turned to home birth and I'm so glad we did! I loved my first home birth it was so redeeming. My daughter was born at home with her family and it was beautiful!

My 4th baby was born at home as planned at 41+5. Her labor was 7 hours, born in the water weighing 9lbs 15 oz! My biggest baby yet, no tearing. A beautiful almost completely undisturbed birth.

Postpartum is so overlooked, we need to focus more on this.
