Amber - slightly tanned skin with long straight brown hair, eyes are an amber colour (fits her name :) ). Lives in 3rd class. Crazy obsessed with aliens and conspiracy theories, also the oldest of the group. She can be described as introverted, intelligent and fashionable.

Layla - blasian with medium length brown hair, her eyes are a desaturated purple colour but she wears contacts a lot. She lives in the 3rd class and regularly parties. She can be described as energetic, fun to be around and a risk taker but sometimes she shuts herself off for a week or two

Hayley- blonde hair and heterochromia (blue and green eyes) pale skin, lives in 1st class. She doesn’t like her life before she meets the girls though because she is used for money due to her eyes. Can be described as bratty, good with words and loyal

Amber-
* She isn’t supposed to live in the 3rd class and actually belongs in the 5th but was able to hack her way into 3rd at the age of 15.
* She only has her dad and brother as family and later gets them into 3rd class as well
* she has a large following on social media, all her posts consist of outfits.
* she is 17 when the story first takes place but turns 18 in the first half
* She is extremely awkward in person unless you are close friends with her or talking over text. She is also quite secretive!
Layla-
* she raves a lot and goes to most of the parties she hears about

* Her room is lit up only by purple, blue and pink lights suck as lava lamps, led lights and neon lights

The world in question
The year is 3064 and humanity has evolved due to protests and the new generations. Cities of the same size have been placed across the globe (100 cities in total). The rest if the planet has been rid of manmade things and left alone for wildlife. Each city consists of classes ranging from 1st to 5th. 1st class being the wealthiest and 5th being the poorest. Each class is provided with comfortable living though, it’s mostly based upon net worth. Each class is divided up with barriers that you can of course pass but you must make it back to your original class by 10pm sharp. This was put in place to sustain a sort of organised system so it’s easier for the government to provide for each class. It’s also helpful to keep peace between each class so no one asks too much from someone who is wealthier or feel insecure about their class. The city that this story takes place in is #16 (bc 16 is my favourite number hehe). If anyone wanted to visit another city they would have to first let the government know where, why and for how long. This is because the government is required to send out shipments of food and healthcare requirements to each household monthly or weekly depending of which one you need. You will then be transported by plane like vehicles because no one is allowed to disrupt the land in between cities since new animals have evolved that are deadlier.
