Regardless of who's side you are on, we all agree that both these artists are legendary talents.

I'm not an expert, but I do believe that music can sound similar unintentionally. We are all inspired by the things we listen to, whether we're conscious of it or not. I've linked below to Bthelick's Youtube analysis for some excellent commentary on the music theory side of this, if you want to check it out.

In the meantime I've made a fun little mash-up to try and build some bridges. "Offshore" is an absolute top track, and Chicane's "Far From The Maddening Crowds" was an inspirational listen; one of the 1st albums I ever bought.

This mash-up uses Kryder's brilliant 2022 Remix as it brings the production up to modern standards.

Download and use in your DJ sets if you like.

The Info

In case you were wondering, I took my artist name from the word "Sinistral" meaning to be left handed, with a little "y" sprinkled in to represent the Synthesizer's that feature heavily in my tracks.

I am a self-published independent music producer with a passion for all forms of electronic music, taking inspiration from many different genres.

My love of all things EDM began with Trance in '99, and evolved through French House, Electro House, Progressive Trance/House, Tech-house, Deep House.... basically if it's got a "4 on the floor" rythym and a catchy melody then it's on my play list! Even a little bit of melodic Drum & Bass and Breakbeat creeps in occasionally!

Today, I like to produce Trance, Deep Melodic House and Melodic Techno. Check out my Spotify Playlists for an idea of artists and genres that are inspiring me right now, and keep checking back here for details on future releases.
