TEDXNTU TALK

I had the profound privilege of delivering a talk at TEDxNTU as a biomedical science student grappling with multiple rare and chronic illnesses. My speech centered on the idea that life, despite its adversities, is worth embracing. I shared personal insights on resilience in the face of adversity, the transformative power of perspective, the importance of authenticity, and the impact of community support. I emphasized that resilience is not the absence of challenges but the ability to persevere, and that our perspective can turn hardships into opportunities for growth. Authenticity and sharing our stories can inspire both ourselves and others, while a supportive community can make a significant difference in our journey. I will never forget that day and the profound interactions I had with people. It was truly a life-changing experience, and I invite you to watch my TEDxNTU talk [insert link] and be part of the conversation. Together, let's inspire each other to live life to the fullest, irrespective of the obstacles we encounter.

together, we can make a difference🌈❤️

Despite these trying times, I want to give back to the community! It has always been a dream of mine to start fundraisers and you guys have been showering me with overwhelming support so this is one of my ways of saying thank you!❤️

I believe that we can make a difference together even if it’s something small like donating or even just smiling at others. A small act of kindness can go a long way🧸

I plan to do as many fundraisers as I can for organisations I believe in. Do DM or email me if you would like to collab!

Our little warriors🎗️! (reached our goal!)

My journey has been a challenging one. I've faced my fair share of health battles, dealing with rare disorders that have tested my strength and resilience. But through it all, I've found inspiration in the unwavering courage of these young superheroes who face a daily battle against childhood cancer.

These children, with their infectious smiles and indomitable spirits, have taught me that even in the darkest of times, there is a spark of hope that can light up the world. They've reminded me that life is precious, and it's meant to be lived to the fullest, no matter the obstacles that come our way.

So, I've decided to channel my own journey into something powerful and positive. I'm embarking on a mission to raise $5,000 by September 2024 for a cause that's incredibly close to my heart, the Children's Cancer Foundation. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these little heroes and their families!

not too rare to care! 💜 (reached our goal)

Having rare disorders are never easy! With your help, we will help patients to have access to sustainable treatments and live a quality life! 💜

Club rainbow fundraiser!🌈 (reached our goal!)

make a wish foundation fundraiser💫 (reached our goal)

I've always loved what make a wish does for the kids and to see their smiles after their wish is granted lights up my world. The feeling is indescribable. I’d actually like to be a volunteer at Make-A-Wish in the near future, but for now, due to my health, I am unable to do so :( so, this is one of the ways I can help them grant more wishes!
