Tanaka Maria is an actor signed with Glitter Talent Agency.

She acted in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in college and made it to the semi-finals. As a YoungArts Winner in Theatre, she’s had masterclasses with Renee Elise Goldsberry, Saverio Guerrera, Malcolm Gets, and Jeanine Tesori.

During the Summer Residential Governor’s School of the Arts Program, Tanaka worked under Michael Boynton and Caroline Price, who both studied at the Moscow Art Theatre.

Tanaka also originated a role for the Capital Fringe Festival in DC and made her Live Arts Theatre debut in the role of Jasmine in Pipeline by Dominique Morisseau.

In her free time she enjoys videography, creative writing, and spending time with her cats.
