Jollibee Foods Corporation reported that its flagship brand’s best-selling Chickenjoy has been ranked as among the best fast-food fried chicken by U.S. online magazine Redbookmag.com in celebration of National Fried Chicken Day in America.
In its article titled, The Best Fast-Food Fried Chicken, Ranked, RedBook Magazine hailed the “crispylicious and juicylicious” Chickenjoy as the fourth favorite fried chicken in America, beating its other competitors that include some established fast-food giants in the U.S.
"One of the key things really is that it's popular food — fried chicken, pasta, pies — but it's twisted in a different way that's very true to Jollibee in its uniqueness," Jose Minana, Jollibee's group president for North America, tells CNBC Make It. "It's almost like a mosaic of different flavors, it's not just that one blanket that fits all."
