I tell stories that make people think deeply about the world around them, why it is the way it is and how we can, in some small way, make it better. I write elevated genre, using the conventions of the form as a trojan horse, to open minds, challenge and entertain in equal measure. Work that people will watch, together, and then talk about all night.
I teach smartphone filmmaking and creative writing for schools, universities, charities and businesses around the world. My goal is to inspire the next generation of filmmakers to get out there and make films with the tools they already have - a phone, an idea and the commitment to say something new, different and challenging. I offer guest lectures, media interviews and bespoke educational programmes, including pro bono work...
