As part of the research and development arm of Te Pikopiko Hineuru, we aim to create natural healing products to benefit our whānau and yours. Proceeds from the sale of our products are distributed back into Te Pikopiko Hineuru research and development as well as Hineuru community initiatives.

All of our balms/salves contain infused Rongoā oil, vitamins C & E as well as essential oils and Arataki beeswax.

Kawakawa Balm

Kawakawa (Pepper Tree/Creek Fern/ Blechnum Fluviatile) is an excellent healant, traditionally utilised internal and externally for its healing properties. Kawakawa is fantastic for cuts, burns, eczema, dry and itchy skin.

Calendula & Paewhenua

Calendula is well known for its extremely valued healing properties. Coupled with Paewhenua (dock leaf), this healing duo create a salve that is perfect for those with sensitive skin or for babies. Excellent for burns, sores, rashes, itchiness, cuts and abrasions.

Kopakopa & Karamū

Kopakopa (Plaintain) is traditionally utilised for the fast healing of sunburn, insect bites or stings, rashes and blisters. Coupled with Karamū (Coprosma) contains a high level of healing properties suitable for cuts, sores and scabies.

Kapuka

Kapuka (broadleaf, griselinia littoralis) known for its antibacterial properties, serves for an excellent healant for wounds and post-op care.
