A little about me
I am that thick chick, learning to unlearn society’s standard of beauty, being more intentional and breezing through life with confidence and love ✌💁
Quarantine and mental health
What I have been doing during the quarantine for my mental health
Some easy tips for a little less stress
Being more intentional about what I have and want has always been a struggle, especially during this quarantine. Some days the confidence is on 10 and other days not so much but, what ever day it may be, being able to sit with coffee or matcha and just meditate about my day and how grateful I am for the little things always helps me see things a little more clearly.
PS: Dutchbros coffee always does the trick, or homemade matcha.
I just recently started buying house plants, but boy was I late?
I completely believe my plants exude some powerful energy that just makes me want to take on the world (and buy more plants of course 😂😂). I love looking at the calmness surrounding them and yes I only buy (for now) low maintenance house plants because I fully believe I will be devastated if they die.
If you still want me to convince you that house plants are the way to go:
1. They reduce carbon dioxide
2. Indoor plants boost mood
3. Everything looks a lot prettier
I learned to cook as early as 11 years old, so you can understand when I tell you I have a love/hate relationship with cooking.
I will go for very long period where I absolutely won’t cook, but quarantine has made me appreciate how much of a good, no great, cook I am and has reminded me just how much I enjoy it (see I like to hype myself up when I cook). Cooking makes me feel good and when I feel good, I do better.
