theartofthepaws is a project that came about through Oreo, a purebred shih tzu that I received on May 1, 2020. When I first got him he became the highlight of my life, soon after starting an Instagram account for him to share our experiences, we gained many followers and support from friends, family, and viewers.

It was a bit after we hit the 400 follower mark that I asked my good friend, @xcloudy_wilowx if she wanted to start a business project with me, at first it was just a joke, a far dream as we went on with our lives; but after receiving positive feedback from the small pawtrait projects she did we both decided to push through with the simple joke and turn it into something better.

After a lot of discussion, we decided that our art would not only help us through experience, we wanted to do something that helped, no matter how small we started. Our project is to use 50% of any earnings we get and donate them to chosen credible charities. Although we don't expect the project to be too big, we are very excited for the journey that is to come.
