The Basik B

Tell the world what you’re made of

I’m an outgoing, anxiety ridden, truth speaking, big hearted, YOLO type of girl. I am organized chaos wrapped in blonde hair, green eyes & thick thighs. I am strong but very emotional, I am brave but scared of a LOT, and I have spent a good portion of my life trying to make people feel good & look good. I’ve been through a lot in my 35 years on earth. I have had some high highs and some low lows. I’m learning more about myself everyday, especially since I’ve become a mama. I’ve been all over the place with regards to what I want to do with my time besides being a SAHM. I have some credentials: Bachelors degree in psychology, minor in health… & I’m a licensed medical esthetician (hence my love for skin & makeup). For nearly a decade, I had a very demanding corporate job, made lots of money & left it when I had my daughter. A tough decision mentally & financially but I would never trade the time in that I’ve had with my daughter. It was a huge leap and I’m so grateful I took it.

I am finally feeling like I’m starting to figure it all out. I’m learning that I can be a SAHM & do something I’m truly passionate about (to benefit myself & other women). I will never share something on my page that I don’t use myself or LOVE! I’m new to all of this, so bear with me. I’m excited to share my real life, family & favorite things with you all (& ALWAYS with a dash of comedy!) Welcome to my journey..... enjoy the ride.

Recipes Fiesta Chicken 4 chicken breasts defrosted (or however many you want to cook!) Pace Picante Salsa (medium or however spicy you like it!) 2 blocks of cream cheese (add more if you’re cooking more than 2 chicken breasts) Spices to taste: garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, parsley *Layer half of salsa on bottom of baking dish put chicken on top then put rest of salsa and cream cheese on top and sprinkle spices* Bake at 350 for an hour (covered) and serve!

Spray your pan with cooking spray, spread the tomato paste/cream cheese sauce on one side of the toritilla, put tortilla on pan and add chicken and shredded cheese (as much as you want- I like a lot!!) and add second tortilla Let sit and cook and press flat to pan until one side is golden brown. Flip and do the other side the same! Use pizza cutter to cut into a perfect four! Add sour cream or salsa for dipping if you wish!
