The Blaxican Militia:
Black and Brown led collective and non-profit dedicated to raising consciousness through dance, arts, social justice activism and youth programs. We are a militia armed with love, compassion and healing.
Who we are:
Dwan Miller is a creative director, choreographer, and dance artist. She has over 25 years’ experience in coordinating events, productions, developing artists, and providing artistic directing for recording artists and dance studios nationally.
Tisha Marina is educator, therapist, dancer, hooper and international peace ambassador. She has worked with thousands of students, schools and communities globally facilitating Bully Prevention trainings, Restorative Practices and trauma informed counseling circles.
With over a 20-year sisterhood, they joined forces to bring their collective tools to serve the masses.
Our mission is to provide communities of color resources and tools for holistic healing. Our services include therapy, coaching, conscious dance and movement, art therapy and education.
