“For my third pregnancy I was planning on a home birth vbac and I knew I would be needing some extra support to make that happen. From the start Shannon was very personable but also professional. She listened to my birth history and took notes and was very excited and supportive of my plans. During our
prenatal visits she was very thorough and made sure to answer all of mine and my husbands questions and made sure we felt well prepared. Later in my pregnancy I developed preeclampsia which meant I needed to change my birthing plans and deliver via C-section at the hospital instead. Shannon quickly adapted to the new plans and kept reminding me it would be okay and kept me focused on how exciting it was we were about to meet the baby. She made sure we were prepared with our hospital birth plan and was our advocate in the hospital ensuring that the hospital staff followed all of our wishes. She was so calm and supportive. Both my husband and I were so thankful to have her there even though our birth didn't go like we had planned. I will always be thankful to Shannon for the role she played in my pregnancy and birth and would definitely recommend her services to any expecting mama!”
