ABOUT THE HIVE

The Hive by Haley serves as an outlet for me to share photography and my love for the Word of God. Whether I'm capturing a special memory or sharing the gospel of Jesus, the fellowship that both offer is such a special part of why I created this site.

MORE ABOUT HALEY

Haley is a wife, mom, and creator of The Hive by Haley. As a former English teacher, Haley has always had a deep-rooted love for writing. As she transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom, God planted a seed in her heart to sow her time into writing a devotional. "Bee Still: A 10-Week Journaling Devotional," is the harvest of that seed. Haley is passionate about forgiveness, healing, and transformation. She has found personal healing through sharing how God has taken her hardest seasons and turned them around for His glory. She shares these things transparently with hopes that through the evidence of God’s glory in her life, others will surrender their imperfect lives to a perfect God.

I'm so happy you're here! Below you will find access to free devotions to help you grow in your walk with God and to deepen your knowledge of the Word.

Silencing Outside Voices

This devotion was put on my heart during my study of 1 Chronicles. It dives deep into how we can completely miss the mark of what God wants with good intentions and logical advice from other people. It reminds us that it's important to remember that even the good things in our life require specific direction from God. His plans don't always line up with logic, and our good intentions don't always align with God's sovereignty.

Romans: Bible Study

This message is one that I released in my Women's Bible Study Group. However, I wanted to share it with more than just those women and more than just women in particular. These takeaways from my study of the book of Romans could help those of any age or gender. Here are a few takeaways you'll get from this message:

1. None of us are worthy to judge others (Romans 1:17)
2. God has a way to make people right and it has nothing to do with the law (Romans 3:21)
3. A testimony of walking by faith and not by sight (Romans 4:18-25)
4. Anyone who is in Jesus Christ is not judged guilty. You are made free. (Romans 8:1-2)
5. Nothing can separate us from Gods love (Romans 8:37-39)
6. How you can be saved (Romans 10:8-10)
7. Your works are not what allows you to be welcomed and accepted by God (Romans 9:30-33)
8. Our expectations (Romans 12 and 13)
9. Beware of false prophets and false teachings (Romans 16:17)
10. Revelation 19:10 ...the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (The spirit of true prophecy is to bear witness to Jesus)

Avoid Becoming a Withered Branch

In this devotion, we will dive into the key of how to better "live out" the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Jesus gives us the key to this, in scripture. This devotion will answer questions for you like: "What are the fruits of the Spirit?" and "How can I strengthen my relationship with Jesus?" It guides you through what living out the fruits of the Holy Spirit looks like in your day-to-day actions and behavior. Reflection questions offered to you, at the end of the devotion, will help facilitate growth and deeper thinking as you meditate on the scripture and message shared.

Standing in the Gap

This devotional brings insight to ways that God may use a bad situation to give you supernatural deliverance so that other people will want to know to the same God who delivered you. Don’t ever think that the bad situation that you’re in was meant to defeat you. Even if it was sent from Satan, the Lord always uses it as an opportunity for you to be delivered, and to show other people that he can bring you out of anything. Like Esther, you may be placed in your position NOT for personal benefit but for spiritual reasons.
