Aka The Mug Maiden!
From 2021 to 2023, I became addicted to handmade ceramic mugs. I made it my personal vendetta to support as many small businesses & artists as I could & accumulated over 700+ mugs! I even created an instagram account for the collection & tried to help draw more followers to the artists as well.

The mugs have been stored away for over a year now & I'm paying quite a bit each month for their storage unit.
After re-evaluating my priorities & current living situation, I've come to the bittersweet conclusion that It's probably better to try & buy my first home rather than continue to provide shelter for mugs that will never see the light of day until I do.
And guess what!? I've found my dream property!! I've submitted a portion of the down payment already, but have a limited amount of time to come up with the rest!

Many of the mugs have been featured in galleries & come from all over the U.S. & several other countries as well. But unless you're a handmade mug collector, it's harder to appreciate the actual value of the mugs. Most people's jaw wouldn't hit the floor when I say that I have pieces from artists like Hedy Yang, Handstuff Studio, or Pitch Pine whose shop drops literally sell out within minutes!

I realize that the general population might have a hard time justifying spending $50 on a mug, let alone $150 and certainly probably not $300 & up.
I have several mugs that hit that mark and much higher because they aren't just regular old mugs, they're hand sculpted works of functional art.

So, instead of waiting for the right collectors to come along to purchase each piece, I've come up with a creative way to try and recoup as much as I can from my collection.

I've decided to start a fundraiser, and for every $145 that's raised, I will give a mug away from my collection! The goal is set at $145 because I spread out the total value of the entire group across all 242 mugs in the giveaway.
$35,090 ÷ 242 = $145 Per Mug To Raise For Each New Spin For A Winner.

So heres how it works!
I'll use a randomized wheel app & put your name in a slot for every $5 you donate.
For example, if you donate $35, you'll get 7 spots on the wheel & your spots will remain on the wheel until you win a mug or until the total gofundme goal is hit.

Every time $145 is raised, we'll spin the wheel for a winner!
The winner will receive a message with 2 different options for their live mug reveal.
They will get to select 3 mystery mugs out of the giveaway bins and they can either:
1. Keep it all a mystery and choose one mug from the 3 to reveal...
2. Or pay an extra $20 to reveal all three mugs and pick their favorite mug out of the group! (This purchase option is ONLY to reveal all 3 mugs. It does not add their name back to the wheel)

I'll reveal the mug/mugs on a live & record it so we can all find out which one it's gonna be together!
Each mug will also come with a mystery handmade crochet plushie from my very good friend at Broken Bonds Crochet.

All the mugs are safely wrapped up and are in the exact condition in which they were received.
They've all been randomly placed in 4 different giveway bins. So when you win one... it's literally luck of the draw. You could win a $50 mug all the way up to a $1500 mug from Soulstice Ceramics, which I am including in this first giveaway!
