Bohemian Hair Stylist

Toni & Guy trained, 20 years experience

I’m Becky Jamieson, and this is the bit where I tell you what’s so great about me. Except that’s really cringey and quite awkward to do, so how about I tell you what I’m not?

I’m NOT a hair machine: you won’t find my Insta grid rammed with extensions and babylights and nothing else. I like to keep things natural (or, at least, looking like they are) and I specialise in subtle blonding and balayage.

I’m NOT one for ‘where are you going on your holidays?’ chat: my clients become friends and we’ll probably cover everything from piercings to politics in the first five minutes, as long as you feel comfortable. Trust me, I can talk (silent appointments are available!)

I’m NOT into harming the planet: my chat isn’t recycled, but pretty much everything else is. I believe in little things making a big difference to the world, so I choose to save the planet in my own small way, with eco-friendly packaging and biodegradable towels. I even recycle your hair (true fact).

I’m NOT a newbie: I started training at 16 (way back in the late-90s), when I left home to follow my dream. I lived and breathed cutting in my formative years at Toni & Guy, but these days I’m into the total transformation of cut and colour combined.

And I’m NOT big on formality: boho, relaxed professionalism is my thing - I want you to feel as chilled as I am when you come to my home salon. Leave your stresses at the door… and if you can’t, an Indian head massage at the basin will 100% help.

Training: Toni & Guy 2002
Semi finalist L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2005
Qualifications: NVQs to managerial level.
Specialises in: balayage, beard trims, blonding (but brunettes, redheads and silvers are welcome too!)
Inspired by: think indie vibes, Oasis, Dave Grohl, Sienna Miller, Stella Mcartney…

I’m a big believer in being good to the planet and have done my homework to make sure I can offer you carefully-sourced, ecological products that are kind to your hair, kind to the world and kind to your pocket. The Eleven Australia range is cruelty-free and PETA approved, and – best of all - every bit of packaging can be recycled.
