BOOKING FEE:
A NON-REFUNDABLE $50 booking fee is required to secure your initial appointment.
If you cancel your appointment for any reason, it will result in forfeiture of your booking fee.

Your remaining balance will be due 48 hrs before appointment.

A new booking fee will be required to book another appointment. No exceptions.

CANCELLATIONS:
I kindly ask if you are not going to make your appointment, please extend me the courtesy of texting or emailing to let me know. You are not allowed to cancel for any reason. Should you decide to cancel, this will result in forfeiture of your booking fee.

Please be courteous of others and be on time for your scheduled appointment. I understand unforeseen circumstances can happen, however it is important to allow enough time to properly perform each service.

LATE POLICY:
Due to my tightly packed schedule, I ask that you arrive on time. If you arrive to your appointment more than 15 minutes late, you will be considered a "no show" and result in forfeiture of your booking fee. Please take into account traffic times and weather conditions when driving to your appointment.

SHAPING YOUR BROWS:
To ensure you are satisfied with the service, I will carefully map out the shape of your eyebrows according to your unique facial features and bone structure before starting the procedure. You will have the opportunity to review and make any changes at this time. I will not be liable for any changes after you leave the studio.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS:
Photos/Videos will be taken before and after as required by my insurance and may be posted on my social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Website, etc for marketing/advertising purposes.

THIS IS A TWO STEP PROCESS:
Just like any tattoo, semi-permanent eyebrows are a multiple step process; Initial + a Perfection session, 4-12 weeks apart. Within a week of your initial session the color will fade drastically in shade and size. While some clients may accept the pigment and heal beautifully without a touch-up, most clients are required to come back for a second session. On rare occasions, a third session may be needed to achieve the desired look.

BOOKING YOUR PERFECTING SESSION: Because results are unpredictable, it is recommended you book your 4-12 week touch-up in advance when possible. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BOOK THIS SESSION. I cannot guarantee you availability. Anything booked beyond the 12 week time frame will have to pay a higher fee.

HEALED RESULTS:
Results are NOT guaranteed and will vary with each individual client. A second or third session, at additional costs, may be needed to achieve desired results. Factors such as: age, diet, skin type, lifestyle, diet, skincare, post and aftercare, medication, tattoo removal/cover-ups, etc. will affect the results. It is imperative to know that more than one session may be required.

COLOR REFRESHERS:
In order to keep your eyebrow tattoo results looking vibrant, a touch up within 12-24 months is recommended. The color will fade overtime and need to be refreshed. Frequency of touch-ups depend on factors such as: the color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle, sun exposure, skin care products, use of harsh products or chemical peels, etc.

NO GUESTS: No children, pets, or additional guests are allowed at your appointment due to hazardous materials and cross contamination.

NO REFUNDS will be issued as the service has been completed.

If you book an appointment without approval or disclosing previous cosmetic tattoo work, your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment cancelled.

Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for those who are/have any of the following:

-Under 18 years of age, even with parental consent.

-Skin irritations, rashes, sunburn, moles, Eczema or Psoriasis near the eyebrow area
-Prone to Keloid scarring
-Viral infections/diseases

-Received Botox or fillers 90 days prior to their appointment date
-Undergoing Chemotherapy
-Used Accutane within the last 12 months
-Please notify The Powdered Arch if you have had any allergic reactions to topical anesthetics.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does it hurt?
Everyone has a different level of pain tolerance and sensitivity. Topical anesthetic is applied before the treatment as well as during to help keep clients comfortable. A small amount of discomfort is expected.

How long does it take?
The procedure takes roughly 2.5-3 hours. Please allow the proper time frame for your appointment.

How long does PMU (Permanent Make-Up) last?
This depends on multiple factors including; the particular technique chosen, the individual’s skin type (dry/oily), age (youthful/mature), daily lifestyle, and proper aftercare.Clients generally get a refresher every 1-2 years.

How long does it take to heal? Will I be able to go to work?
Healing period can lasts 10-14 day with no major down time. You will be able to go about your daily activities like normal with the exception of a few. As long as you follow aftercare instructions, there should not be an issue going to work or being out in public.

Will you shave off all my eyebrow hairs? Does this harm my existing brow hair?
No. I do not shave off all your brow hairs. We keep as much of your natural hairs as possible. This treatment does not harm your existing brow hairs as we do not penetrate the skin deep enough to reach the hair follicles.

What happens during the perfecting session?
The touch up is recommended 4-12 weeks after initial treatment. During your touch up, the artist will fill in any areas that may not have taken the pigment as well. This typically lasts 45 minutes – 1 hour.

Is the follow-up perfecting session necessary?
As pigment retention cannot be guaranteed, this session allows us to go over any areas that need a little extra attention. I would highly recommend it, as PMU generally takes 2 sessions to complete the look.

What can I expect during my appointment?
Consultation is done the same day of your appointment. I will discuss aftercare with you and you will complete consent and disclosure forms.

After taking "before" photos, I will then map out your eyebrows with a pencil first so you have a clear idea of the shape. Please realize, nobody's face is completely symmetrical and you must be realistic with your expectations. Once you approve the shape, I will begin the treatment.

How do I prepare for my appointment?
Pre & Post care instructions are an important aspect to achieve the best possible results. You will receive a pre-care & Aftercare instructions attached to the email confirmation after booking. You may also review these instructions below before booking.

Pre-Care instructions:
-Do not consume any alcoholic beverages or caffeine (coffee, green tea, energy drinks, etc.) 24 hours before your appointment.
-Do not take Asprin, Naicin, Advil, Ibuprofen or any blood thinners 48 hours before. (Please consult your Doctor before stopping any medication)
-Do not tint your brows for 3 weeks prior
-Do not wax, shave or pluck your brows. I will shape them the day of.
-Avoid tanning or long sun exposure 1 week prior.

What’s the aftercare?
Gently rinse the brows with cool water first 7 days. Apply a very thin amount of the healing ointment only once a day for three days only. Avoid activities that will cause excessive sweating, (gym, sauna, bath, hiking, etc.) as this will cause your pigment to blur. No makeup, creams, lotions, oils on the brow area. Avoid long periods of sun exposure. Do not pick or scratch the brow area during healing. No swimming in pools or large bodies of water.
