The Journey Taekwondo
My passion is martial arts. I have been passionate about this. Well, passion is a different
form of discipline. Discipline takes a very wide range of forms. Passion for me is discipline. It’s something that you can always get yourself to do, to practice more, to work training more because you love doing it so much. It can also be career oriented. I can make a career out of my passion in martial arts. I am able to reach out and shout out to the world my strength and energy. I can show the world how I love my family, how I see the world and how I treat the beauty of this world. It may not be as nice and magnificent to the other works of people but it is a simple representation of my life.
I love performing when doing taekwondo and being calm and thoughtful of my actions. With every move I make, if I make a mistake on my form, I keep going until the end, then I decide to fix it. That is love and it will stay with me. Good balance should feel like your body is being kept upright with shoulders relaxed, breathing naturally with this mindset should remain at an energy, calm and clear because focus of the mind and body are energy with controlled movements. This exercise can help strength, flexibility, and balance, and be a perfect activity for the rest of my life. Martial arts would have this very hard training exercise, other types of exercise in respects. Taekwondo fills the void of the lack of martial arts, it helps me be calm and thoughtful of my actions whenever I fight. I do taekwondo to make myself better, physically and mentally (in a way). Not everything I do is martial arts but it is a good skill to have in life, any skill. What brought me to taekwondo specifically was recommendations and research on which martial art is perfect for me- the other ones (Judo, Tai-Jutsu, etc) are too intense for me.
I focus on my daily fitness routine everyday. Practicing regularly is very good mind-body practice. I keep more energy for working out. As a good example, helping my siblings be healthy is important for me by forcing them to workout, fighting sparring and exercising form poomsae. A martial art is a variety of sports and skills. These sports help the user know self-defense and how to counter with an attack. A martial art that is mostly about defense and self health to make the person stronger. This martial art helps build health and strength and goes with the body and mind. If I make a few mistakes on my form, I keep practicing, then I fix everything and start to flow together and try breathing as a little challenge movement. I practice that relaxing our muscles improves natural focus of mind and body with slow controlled movements for the rest of my life. In martial arts this hard work exercise does a lot of stretching and flexibility from other types of exercise in respects. If there alot of people very into what kind of martial arts skill and very challenging anything.
