PLEASE READ THIS {VERY WORDY} POST WITH ALL THE DETAILS ABOUT OUR RETURN TO THE KITCHEN

Welcome {BACK} to The Simple Kitchen! We're elated to announce that Chef Kristin will be flying back to her kitchen nest located in downtown Plymouth at the PARC building after a hiatus due to the pandemic.

We have some exciting news~ The Simple Kitchen will now be offering classes under the "umbrella" of the Proud Mitten Culinary Concepts, an already existing tenant in the PARC building. Simply put, we will be a part of cadre of local chefs sharing the kitchen space offering a wide variety of culinary classes. Since we'll be sharing the kitchen, you'll notice our classes sizes will be compact to allow for more detailed small group culinary exploration. Please note, our ability to host large groups such as birthday parties and scout troops will be limited due to a shared kitchen environment and our new refined business plan.

As always, safety, learning, creativity and a FUN atmosphere are the pillars of our culinary arts programming. Whether your or your Junior Chef is a beginner or more seasoned chef, all participants will leave the kitchen with an enriched foundation of cooking of baking. Math, science, literacy and geography are all an woven in to our curriculum. We are looking forward to welcoming you all back into the kitchen for a new fresh take on The Simple Kitchen!

Let's get to the fun stuff~ We invite you to sign up for our first few months of classes! If you're new to The Simple Kitchen here are a few important facts to know about how our classes are facilitated:

1) All classes are hands on and any food made in class will be sent home to share with family and friends.

2) All classes will be instucted by Chef Kristin, a certified chef and graduate of Schoolcraft Culinary College and former elementary school teacher.

3) No prior kitchen experience is needed unless noted in the class description.

4) All ingredients, supplies and tools, including aprons, will be supplied on the day of class.

5) All participants MUST have a signed consent/waiver form on file to participate in class.

6) We do our very best to accomodate most dietary needs, however, please note our kitchen is NOT 100% free from gluten, dairy, nuts or meat.

7) Unless specified in the description of the class, all participating Junior Chefs must be at least (8) years of age to participate.

8) After registering for a class, you will receive an email with the class consent/wavier that you will fill out and bring to the kitchen on the day of class. Again, no students will be able to participate in class without a consent/waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

9) Cancellation policy: All classes are nonrefundable. Outside of two weeks, a credit will be issued. Once inside of two weeks, no credit can be issued.

10) If a class is sold out, please put your name on our waiting list and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.
