My name is Maya Sumpter and I’m a Birth and
Postpartum Doula!

My goal is to normalize the needed support from Doulas during the birthing and postpartum experience, for everybody… especially black women!

As a birth doula, i’m there to support, act as an advocate, educate, amplify voices, and serve as a coach to the mama and partner. As a postpartum doula, I’m there to nurture, educate, assess the needs of the mama or baby, refer to needed doctors or specialists, and support the family as they transition their life with a new baby.
