It's amazing, really. Even I am clueless as to how I have gotten here yet I am taking a journey into the past to finally figure it all out. I once foolishly believed that you would get back from life what you put into it. I was ever the optimistic soul. Now, I have a "mixed" view of my existence. Cynical yet hopeful - No longer a doormat for a person must have a spine and the will to stand up for themselves. Kindness is a wonderful trait - though also a weakness that others take advantage of.
