Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome our tributes for the 13th Hunger Games!

Welcome, Welcome.

This year we celebrate 13 years of having defeated the rebels and we bring you this years tributes who will fight in the 13th Hunger Games!

Benvolio Carters

Benvolio comes from District 1. We are told that he came from a wealthy family and trained for the past three years to take part in the games. He looks very handsome in his white shirt and brown trousers. He is a volunteer and looks like a fighter! Welcome to the Capitol Benvolio!

Lilith Naamah Abaddon

Lilith Naamah Abaddon is your tribute for District 1 this year! What we know of Lilith makes her even more interesting! We are told that she was the best ranking student at the academy! She is sure to make her district proud if she wins! She stood proud in her full black outfit and volunteered to take another girls place! She stood proud on the stage with a wicked grin across her face! Welcome Lilith we are excited to watch you!

Willow Geller

Straight from District 2 may we present Willow Geller! Willow stood with her younger sisters as her family watches over them proudly! We are told that Willow’s sister Emma actually won the games three years ago! This year Willow volunteered to make district 2 proud! Her blond hair floated in the light breeze as she walked to the stage! She looks like a fighter!

Celeste Bellemore

Next up is Celeste Bellemore! Celeste looked absolutely radiant as she went up to the stage! We have been told that Celeste volunteered for a young girl in her district! Oh, we are told that Celeste did not have the easiest childhood. Celeste also has a younger sister who seemed a little upset as Celeste was taken away on the train. We all hope the Bellemore girls will be reunited soon!

Led

Next is District 3, our technology district! Led is 18 years old and another volunteer! We are told that Led is very gifted in the eyes of her district. On the day of her last reaping she looked beautiful in her flowing red dress. Her name was actually picked but she officially volunteered how exciting! We can’t wait to see her action!

Via Penhallow

Via Penhallow is next! We are excited to welcome her to the capitol! Via, we are told, has actually been taking tesserae for the third year. Via is the middle child of five children! When it came to the reaping she kept a straight face the entire time. She looked really distressed as her name was called and her family also looked upset as she was taken to the stage. But we do not see tears in her eyes. We hope that somehow this family will be reunited! Let us hope the odds are in their favour!

Katia Stark

From Panem’s fishing district we bring you Katia Stark. Katia is also a volunteer but we know that she hasn’t the easiest life so far seeing her sister die in the games about two years ago! We are told that Katia is an excellent swimmer! We really hope that she can avenge her sister and make her proud!

Alec Lightwood

We then bring you Alec Lightwood! He is 17 years old! Alec is not a volunteer but doesn’t look like he will be easy to get rid of! He also has a little sister but we are told that Alec might be a little of a rebel having been caught in the woods together! Welcome Alec

Ivy Lawrence

From District 5 we bring you Ivy Lawrence! Ivy is a very beautiful girl who kept glancing around during the reaping! We are now told that she was looking in the crowd for the boyfriend Ace. Ivy luckily did not have to worry about her little sister being reaped but we can guess that the odds weren’t exactly in her favour. She was clearly in shock from being called in the reaping! Let's hope the odds are more in her favour in the arena!

Deena

Next from District 5 is Deena! Deena was also reaped into the games this year. Deena stood with her friends as they waited for the capitol escort! Deena looked shocked when her name was called but she made her way to the stage and stood proud hoping to reunite with her mother and her friends.

Mave Shucka

From District 6, our transportation district, we bring you Mave Shucka. We are told Mave was reaped but also had two sisters eligible for the reaping! Mave, we are told, is very talented with paint and oils, how interesting. We are not told a lot about her parents, but we know that she was very close to her siblings!

Tariq Muneer

Next is Tariq Muneer from District 6. Tariq was reaped into the games but we are glad that it is not his younger sister. Tariq lives with his father and we are told he works in the auto shop being of a big help to our peacekeepers by working on their trucks! Welcome to the capitol Tariq!

Ivy Leif

Our next tributes come from district 7. First up is Ivy Leif. We are told that Ivy volunteered for her little sister Amber! How sweet is that! Ivy looked a little upset as she took her place on the stage! Oh we are also told that her older sister was reaped and killed the games a few years back! We hope she can manage to avenge her sister's memory and be reunited with her parents!

Alexis Moon

Up next is Alexis Moon! The 17 years old was reaped and did not seem to be upset but showed very little emotion as she came to the stage! We are not told much about Alexis’s background but we are told that she is very good at climbing trees! There is a reason she comes from District 7.

Flayn Adler

From Panem’s textile industries let us welcome Flayn Adler! Flayn is a volunteer and we are told, actually had a brother who took part in the games but was unfortunately killed by the careers just last year. But what is most interesting about Flayn is that she is blind in one eye. Unfortunately Flay did not have the easiest childhood we are told, having been abandoned by their father early on in their childhood. Flayn looked mysterious as she walked up the stage! Welcome Flayn, lets hope you are luckier than your brother!

Lana Collins

Next from District 8 is Lana. Lana seemed to have a lot of friends back in district 8 as she had a lot of people who seemed to have come to say goodbye to her. Lana, we are told, was very shocked as she was reaped for this year's games!

Graine Meddoway

First from District 9 let us welcome Graine Meddoway! Graine looked a little shocked as her name was called during the reaping! She looked to her family for some reassurance, who, we are told, named their daughter after their industry showing how much pride they are about being in District 9. Welcome Graine!

Willow Blair

Next is an interesting character from District 9 is Willow Blaire. Willow seemed quite upset as her name was drawn up in the reaping. Willow is the only person in her family who doesn’t work in the fields. We are also told that Willow is the only person in her family who did not sign up for tesserae. She looked a little distraught as she took her position on the stage! Well let us hope the odds are in her favour and we can reunite her with her family!

Finn Sprack

District 10 our livestock district is up next with Finn Sprack! Finn, we are told, has been taking care of her siblings since she was much younger. Finn is actually district 10’s first ever volunteer isn’t that exciting?! Finn decided to volunteer in the hopes of being noticed by her father. Well let us welcome Finn and her historic decision.

Lilah Daffy

Lilah Daffy is our youngest tribute at only 13 years old! Lilah’s eyes filled with tears as she made her way to the stage. Lilah is a little blond girl who stood a little nervous on the stage after her name was called. Her pregnant mother seemed distraught as her daughter was called in the reaping. Let's hope we can get Lilah home in time to meet her youngest sibling. Let's just hope the odds are in her favour hopefully her small stature will help her but only time will tell.

Amara Blackwood

From Panem’s district 11 lets welcome Amara Blackwood! Amara’s skin is freckled from working in the orchards of district 11. Amara’s mother is famous because she was publicly executed a few years ago. We hope that Amara’s story will make our people realise that even the victor’s children are not safe from the reaping! But on a cheerier note we are sure that Amara will be a contender in this year's games.

Isabel Brooks

Next from district 11 is Isabel Brooks. Isabel was 17 years old when she was just reaped. Isabel seemed very shocked as her name was girl. The poor girl did not expect to be reaped but we are sure she is happier than having to watch her three younger siblings being picked. She also works with her family in the orchards bringing valuable food to the capitol. Welcome Isabel!

Erica Lawson

And finally from district 12 is Erica Lawson! Erica has been living with her mother since her parents split up a couple of years back. This tribute certainly gives our peacekeepers a hard time as she is brought up to the stage. We are excited to see her in the arena that is for sure.

Aurelien Argent

And last but not list our male tribute from District 12, Aurelien Argent. How interesting he is one of the rare volunteers from our outlier districts! Aurelien’s family seemed a little bit distraught as Aurelien took his place on the stage. We sure hope Aurelien will be strong enough to return home!

Hectic. Maybe emotional, for my family at least. Either way, I'll be smiling and I think that’s all that matters.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

They've taught me how I can prepare for the games, and how to hold myself up during it. and other strategies i won’t share due to the rest of the tributes.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬?

If I'm being honest, I'm not very fond of making a fire. it took forever during training, and considering my last three years of training back in one, i should’ve been able to do it without trouble.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭! 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭!

Well, thank you! My stylist pieced it together herself, all clothing items shipped right from district one! as you can tell, with the belt and the turtleneck, it’s classy if you ask me.

Lilith Naamah Abaddon

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞?

She wanted to say no one, however, that would not be appropriate. She was heartless and cold. She didn’t care for anyone besides herself. Safe to say her parents had created the perfect career tribute courtesy of their harsh upbringing. Lilith cleared her throat and prepared to sound and appear as heart wrenching as possible. The brunette stated as clearly as possible, “My parents,” and left it at that. The interviewer nodded, a poor attempt at being understanding, even reaching out to pat her on the folded hand that laid on her lap. She drew away from the callous touch and watched them sit back.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐑: “I’m so very sorry. I’m sure this is hard on all of us. What were they like, if you don’t mind us asking?”
Us? She looked out at the crowd, making eye contact with multiple individuals shedding tears and blowing their noses. Seriously? Was that really all it took to play with their emotions? Goodness gracious, she didn’t even have to really try.
“They mean the world to me. I wouldn’t be the successful young woman I am today without them. My whole life they’ve been there for me, taken care of me… I remember very fondly our many vacations when I was a young girl, but one stuck out to me especially. I was playing in the water and ended up out too far. The second my mother noticed she came rushing into the water. What I didn’t realize was that she saved my life. A second later and I would have gotten a chunk taken out of my leg by a shark. She somehow spotted its fin and despite knowing she might end up dead herself risked it to save me. My father was elsewhere at the time but he has had my back more than I can count.”
The interviewer smiled at her and the crowd aww’d. The lie was bullshit entirely. Her parents took her on vacation a couple of times for the sake of appearance. The rest of it was she was being beaten, forced to train, or locked up.
“I love them, a lot. Mom and Dad, I promise to come out of this alive, for you guys.” She smiled and the interviewer moved on.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞?

She shook her head, “Can’t say it is. I mean, sure, I’ve seen some new technology here and there but hailing from District 1 we’re very close to the Capitol.” What else was there to say? They had new shops? “The fact that it reminds me so much of home makes me love it even more though,” a wonderful save on her part. The crowd went wild, clapping their hands together and cheering her on. They loved this cheesy shit. They lived for it. Easy to be that way when your life capitalizes on lies. She despised her own people, yes.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐑: “Well I think it’s safe to say I and everyone else is very happy to hear this. Would you change anything, perhaps?”
𝑳𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑯: Another plastic smile of hers, “No. Everything’s absolutely perfect, especially the people.” She winked at them and blew a kiss to the crowd.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭! 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭!

Her stylist stuck her in a low plunging black dress that fell to her feet. It was exemplified by jewels that ran down the “neckline”, a cut out where her right leg was, and more diamonds which created a pattern over her breasts and down the front. They made do with sleek, black heels, a simple, authentic diamond necklace that looked like raindrops side by side, and big earrings that fell down her sharp jawline.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐞?

“Now, I can’t go giving away all my secrets, can I? But if you insist!” Lilith smirked and pretended she was deep in thought. “Anything, really. I feel prepared to brave any kind of ecosystem. I plan to come out on top.” There she was. Just for a split second. The true her besides this facade she was building. They were all so easy to fool, too. “I suppose you might like a more specific answer, though. I’d like to think I’d do well in a tropical rainforest of some kind. Travelling has helped me quite a bit as far as prior knowledge goes of what I might be up against but I know the gamemakers keep anything from being too predictable.”
𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐑: “My oh my that confidence! Well, I’m happy to hear that Miss Abaddon. I think it’s safe to say we’re all rooting for you!” The crowd agreed in unison.
𝑳𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑯: “Well thank you. I’m sad I won’t be seeing you all again until after I get out but it was nice meeting you all for the time being.” She got up, blew one last kiss, and left.

Willow Geller

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫?

The games are an honor for the career districts. We all want to participate and win. District 2 is the best, so I'm the best.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨?

My victory would be dedicated to my family. My father won, my sister too and this year it's my turn. When it is my sisters' turn they will win too.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

My mentor taught me so much. She recommended that I practice my weaknesses and show my strengths. She saw my potential. She taught me how to hold myself during the parade and for the interview.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭! 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭!

Willow's outfit is made of black because black is stronger than all the colors and she is stronger than the others.

I feel as if I’ve given myself the best start I could. I know how to handle myself and survive and I think that’s all you can wish for before entering the arena. I’ve also been looking and observing the other tributes to see if I can give myself an edge when I face them. I did try to make some alliances but I hope to make some in the games themselves.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬?

Mr Snow is innovative and has brought new and fresh ideas to the hunger games which has led to their huge success! Without him, we would still be fighting in a dusty arena where I would have had no chance - his innovation has given me hope of winning.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

My mentor has taught me tricks on how to survive and give myself and edge in combat - I won’t be sharing anything as I want my tactics to be a surprise *laughs*

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞?

I miss my parents and my siblings the most, they mean the world to me so I am going to try my very hardest - I promised my sister I’d bake her a proper cake on her 18th so I’m going to try to fight so I can keep my promise. I love them all dearly and I know that they are wishing me the best of luck now.

My outfit is a blue electric dress that I feel reflects my district industry perfectly well. I think I feel as beautiful as I feel.

Clearly he has managed to make the games more entertaining for the people on the capitol, and I’m not gonna lie it has also become more interesting for the districts too.
Every year we hope one of our tributes will win so we can get the prize. Even though it is not likely for district 3 to have victors but is nice to have some hope.

Some really interesting tributes this year I have to say. For what I can tell because of the training scores, there are a couple of surprises I didn’t see coming but I guess we will see what they have to offer in the arena.

My flower crown reflects my love of nature! I’ve spent my life in the forest, with my sister. Ahh i miss those times! The stars on my faces are extraordinary, like most people in the capitol. You guys inspired my look! The bracelets in my wrist are my lucky charms. I’ve got it from my mom, before she disappeared. Everytime i look at it, it reminds me of her, and her pretty face. I miss her.

It would be weird if they didn’t get more famous after he took over, he practically invited people from the Capitol to bet on tributes and made it more inclusive for everyone. I think the addition of the Victor’s Village is making a lot of tributes try harder too.

Probably something that’s familiar to District Five. Maybe a forest too, I haven’t had a lot of experience with forests but I feel like they would be much easier to survive in than for example a modified desert.

My mentor has taught me to be true to myself, and know that all these tributes are going through the same emotions as I am. I wish I was not here, I would love to be with my brothers and sisters right now; safe at home but my name was picked and now I have a responsibility; and it’s a huge one. My mentor has taught me to never give up, to look death in the eyes and tell it that I just got back from hell, and I’m not going back now. My mentor has also taught me that I do have worth and that I can do this, I can win; I just need to believe in myself and put up a good fight but in the end, we are all a part of a show, a show for everyone to watch for their own entertainment. So if I did die, it will be the Capitol’s doing not my fellow tributes; we are all simply just trying to survive.

I miss my two older brothers and my two older sisters. After my parents died they became my guardians since I’m the youngest. They have taught me so much in my short time of living. I pray that I will get the chance to see them again.

I am as ready as I ever will be. A few weeks ago my answer would be different; I was a shy girl who liked painting and reading but now I have broken out of my cage and I am as fierce as ever. I would like to say to my fellow tributes, I hope that in the end, everyone but the victor, has a peaceful death and will be able to rest with ease and forget all the negative things that you had to deal with in your life. The very short time we had on this God forsaken planet.

My outfit is a jumpsuit, very long and elegant. It resembles both my district and what hopefully my life will become. I hope to live a long and elegant/happy life as soon as the games are finished. It’s beige because that’s what my district looks like due to transportation factories, everyone there is miserable and the colour beige reminds me of my home; district 6.

But to be honest, I’m up for any arena you put me in - a precarious bridge, a clock tower or a desolate beach... I’m ok with those as well. Oh, and one more thing - I’m kinda keeping my fingers crossed for an arena with no grass. (the audience laughs heartily) (smirks again) I hate grass, they smell funny

I’d say my biggest weakness is not having one. (glares at the audience) I lost an eye, my father ditched me, my brother died... what do you expect? (pauses for a moment) I don’t feel fear anymore. It numbs my brain a bit, so i don’t really process what horrors I’m going through. I’ve heard that “fear doesn’t shut you down, it wakes you up” - but i disagree. I’m the one who shuts it down and controls when to wake it up - except I’ll never do that. I’d say that makes me pretty unstoppable

flayn stalks in for the interview with her arms crossed as usual. unlike the last interview, she is now dressed in turquoise instead of bold red, but that doesn’t make her any less intimidating. she doesn’t just look dangerous - she looks cold and deadly. Lethal. There are black smudges around her eyes and she applied black lipgloss to make her cheekbones stand out. She raises a hand decorated with nails to match her outfit and ruffles her brown hair, tugging at the turquoise streak, scowling. She is wearing a black choker with little turquoise gemstones and winged earrings, but her skeleton bracelet is the most appealing of all. She turns to face the glare of the audience and a thousand cameras fixated on her, tilting her blind eye into the spotlight. This is not the poor, blind girl from district eight. This is not the fierce girl in red on the day of the parade.

I think they were mainly looking for a leader Snow's take on the hunger games was a new Excitement and Snow gave them something to look forward to and get hooked on each year.

Well I decided to go with a butterfly look because my parents always used to call me their little butterfly and this look is inspired by them. They were always my inspiration when I was little and no matter how big I grow, I'm still their little butterfly.

Snow introducing the Victor Villages, coupled with Capitol citizens being able to sponsor tributes, makes it a lot more interactive. In the districts, it gives us something to aspire to and in the Capitol it is probably very fun to have a hand in who the winner might be.

Willow Blair

The competition seems very fierce this year, I think there are a few volunteers and most of the kids here seem much stronger than me. Although it turns out I'm not too bad since i got the second highest training score!

Yes thanks to my mentor and I'm so thankful for her, she taught me how to make alliances and we’ve figured out a strategy for the games so now i guess i’m as ready as i’ll ever be.

In the capitol everything is much better than home. The food is awesome here and I can shower with warm water and soap. But I miss my district a lot. We are poor but i have a lovely big family and a lot of friends. I miss having dinner with Everyone and running through the meadows with my friends.

Besides our house was a big meadow. I always played there and I feel safe there. I know every plant, flower and animal there, so that would be a great arena.

Swimming, I've never tried swimming before and I'm not sure if I will float or sink. I would love to try it someday but not in the arena where i can drown.

I will dedicate my win to my district. My father has spent many years serving my district, and as his oldest child, I feel as if it’s my duty alongside him to serve my district.

Well, I guess because Mr. Snow is a very creative guy, and he knows how to attract the audience and ignite a kind of spark of interest, he took matters into his own hands. The games have become more interesting since Snow became the head game maker, so he is definitely successful in his work

My mentor is the best I could ask for. She supports me, helps me, and leads me. She taught me a lot of strategies, talked to me about alliances in the arena and fighting and anything I might come across. I'm really, really grateful.

as you can see i’m wearing a black dress, it has a gorgeous trail although i don’t recommend stepping on it (next part whispered) it’s not made of steel i’ll tell you that.
along my arms and leg are dragons, they took awfully long to be painted on but i think they’re stunning (next part to the audience) don’t you?
to complete the look are these red heels and this super tight ponytail that i’m afraid is going to rip my brains out! however i do have to say the face lift is quick nice (runs hands over the start of her ponytail)

It is different in wealth of course. The necklaces I wear are certainly worthy of great value, but they belonged to my grandfather. Unfortunately at his death we did not inherit his wealth. Wear them today to pay tribute to him.

My outfit tonight is simple. I have a tuxedo. With a shirt of great value. I am wearing my gold heritage necklace, as well as my black ring, a gift from my little brother. I also have a well sanded jacket that has some reflections. I love my outfit, it’s original. Thanks to my stylist.

THE BLOODBATH

Day 1 is upon us! We now have 20 tributes left

The cornucopia sits in a field of snow, glistening amongst the sheet of white flakes. As the pedestals rise the tributes look around at their surroundings seeing only mountains for miles, all covered from the top down in a blanket of various white shades. Above the cornucopia sits the timer that counts down the second until the tributes are released.

The tributes are dressed unanimously, head to toe in a thin snowsuit, warm enough for the day, but leaving them terribly exposed if they lack a fire or shelter during the night. They also have thin gloves that, if dry, should prevent them from developing frostbite too quickly.

16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,The gong releases the tributes who set off running towards the cornucopia desperate for any weapons that could save their lives.

Celeste Bellemore (D2), gets to the cornucopia first closely followed by Flayn Adler (D8). Celeste has no time to look around so when Flayn picks up a small knife which she sends straight into Celeste’s heart she has no time to react and her body falls lifeless to the floor. Her cannon sounds instantly, announcing the first death of the games.

Closely following her is Ivy Leif and Alexis Moon (D7) who go straight to the ax sitting on a box. You can see the tension as both the girls have claims to the ax. A few seconds later, as Tariq Muneer arrives Ivy Leif (D7) has gotten the ax and slams it straight into Tariq’s head. His cannon signals his instant death. The alliance made up of Ivy Leif (D7), Alexis Moon (D7), Flayn Adler (D8), Erica Lawson (D12) and Willow Blair (D9) waste no time at the cornucopia. Erica manages to grab a dagger and Willow Blair a large backpack before the group runs away, fleeing the blood soaked cornucopia.

At the same time as Alliance 2 gathers supplies, Isabel Brooks (D11) sneaks into the cornucopia and grabs a small backpack and two little knives. She turns around to find Finn Sprack (D10) reaching for a spear. The two girls look at each other but Isabel doesn’t waste time to run away. Finn grabs one of the few sleeping bags and makes herself scarce just as the career alliance regroup around the metal construction.

Lilith Naamah Abaddon (D1) and Benvolio Carters (D1) start by ransacking through the cornucopia for weapons and anything they might take with them. Katia Stark (D4) finds the one and only trident and stands guard for anyone who might dare come up to the cornucopia.
Alec Lightwood (D4) contents himself with the bow and arrow. Amara Blackwood (D11) who so far was hiding, hoping to grab some supplies, decides to make a run for a little backpack and dashed toward the cornucopia, but Alec Lightwood spots her and he sends an arrow flying through her calf. She winces but waste no time getting up and running in the direction of the glaciers, east of the cornucopia.

Where the pedestals now stood, proud and glimmering black against the pale surroundings, are Lana Collins (D8) and Mave Shucka (D6). It seems Mave has fallen in the snow and Lana is desperately trying to pull her out. Alec Lightwood spots them but Lana ducks everytime she hears an arrow coming from his direction. They manage to get away, grabbing only the knife that killed Celeste Bellemore and flee west to the ice caves.

Aurelien Argent (D12) was hiding behind one of the smaller peaks, desperately hoping to wait out the blood bath and grab whatever remains. When he thinks everyone has deserted the cornucopia he makes his way cautiously towards the daggers. Lucky for him only one remains. As he attempts his gateway Graine Maddoway (D9) comes charging up at him with a mace as it is all she finds. She is clumsy as this is obviously not her first choice in weapons, and narrowly avoids Aurelien’s heart and hits him in the thigh. He picks himself up before becoming fresh meat to the other tributes. Lilah Daffy (D10) uses her small size to pick up the mace dropped by Graine (D9) before making a run to the chalets, hiding in the smallest one.

The careers, alerted by this noise, send Via Penhallow (D3) armed with a machete she found in the cornucopia. Graine, who believed Via to be part of her prearranged alliance, looks relieved to see her. “I thought I’d lost you,” says Graine. She lets her guard down as Via comes charging towards her, not knowing the attackers true intentions. “Sorry bitch, this wasn’t personal.” Graine looks stunned as Via cuts her neck, changing her expression to that of someone who was about to throw themselves off a cliff, a face of pure determination. Blood gurgles around Graine’s throat and turns the white snow scarlet. Her cannon sounds only minutes after that, with Graine’s facial expressions still showing how she was determined on dying with dignity.

Deena (D5), afraid of all this fighting, decides to grab the first thing she sees, a charcoal-coloured slingshot, whilst the occupants of the cornucopia have their backs turned. On her escape from the cornucopia, she runs into Ivy Lawrence (D5) who looks unimpressed, if not slightly disappointed, as if believing Deena could do better than a slingshot. When they make eye contact, she puts away the knife and runs in the opposite direction, heading south towards the chalets.

Ivy Lawrence (D5) makes it to the abandoned chalets, after an hour of trekking through knee-deep snow, she hides under a staircase, hoping to not be seen. Soon After the careers have abandoned the cornucopia, armed to the teeth, and head south hoping to get some rest in the chalets. They go into the first one they find, a bungalow with two bedrooms. Lucky for Ivy Lawrence it is not the one she is hiding in. It is Benvolio Carters (D1) and Lilith Naamah Abaddon (D1) who take the first watch. Benvolio is armed with the long wooden spear he found at the cornucopia and has another sword hanging from his belt. Lilith looks lethal armed with knives and a scythe. As the day draws to an end and the sun lowers, they stick to patrolling the area around bungalow two, talking about their loves back home.

East of the cornucopia, after what seems hours of walking in the snow, Amara Blackwood (D11) seeks refuge under the glaciers, worried about how easy she is to track due to her prints. She finds somewhere to sit and lays her injured leg down. She falls asleep, shaking from the cold and exhausted from the day. Unfortunately for her and her small, bony body, her snowsuit doesn’t protect her from the cold of the night and in the middle of the night a cannon can be heard signaling her death. The poor girl froze to death, all alone, under a glacier.

DAY 2

the second day in the arena! very exciting!

The sun rises on the snowy arena. The sun makes the snow glisten across the arena, giving a false sensation of warmth. Overnight hovercrafts have picked up the bodies of the previous days' fallen tributes.

The careers have made camp at the chalets. Alliance 2, consisting of Flayn Adler (D8), Ivy Leif and Alexis Moon (both D7), and Willow Geller, have made camp by the ice lakes whilst Lana Collins (D8) and Mave Shucka (D6) have set up camp by the ice caves.

During the night the careers have taken turns sleeping and keeping watch. During her watch, Led (D3), who is armed with the blowgun she found at the cornucopia, hears a little noise coming from further in the frozen forest. She leaves Willow Geller (D2) to watch the camp as she treads carefully through the arena’s snowy forest to investigate the suspicious noise. Gripping her blowgun tightly, ready to fire at any sign of danger, Led wipes the cold sweat from her hair. What she finds is a little silver parachute with a gift from her mentor. She brings it back to her camp and opens it to find a small loaf of bread. She breaks it apart and inhales the smell of warmth and comfort and although it is small she shares it with Willow. A couple of minutes later, two more parachutes fall down at the feet of the careers. Willow Geller received a jacket and boots and put them on immediately warming herself up, as she was beginning to develop frostbite in her toes.

Ivy Lawrence (D5) uses the night as cover to go find a safer bungalow. She takes her time covering up her tracks before making it to a little, broken bungalow. She stands her back to the entrance, covering up the tracks she made entering through.
Lilah Daffy (D11) sneaks up on her from inside of the chalet, armed with the mace she picked up. The mace is heavy for such a small girl that she stumbles several metres behind her target and alerts Ivy.

Ivy Lawrence (D5) pulls the knife from her belt and stands ready to attack. When Lilah realises she won’t be able to fight Ivy, she grabs the mace and runs up the stairs. On the landing Ivy launches herself at Lilah. Lilah throws herself back, narrowly avoiding a fatal slice by Ivy’s knife. She runs and locks the door of one of the bedrooms. Ivy kicks the door down in the second attempt, sending Lilah flying through the room and dropping her mace out of reach, leaving her defenceless. Ivy manages to pin her down and takes her knife and runs it on her bony cheek, opening a huge gash. Lilah winces and Ivy moves on to cutting into the palms of Lilah’s hands, leaving them severely damaged and heavily bleeding.
When she hears movement outside she decides to abandon her prey and leaves hoping Lilah will bleed out. Lilah gets up but decides to abandon her mace due to her damaged hands and find somewhere else to lie low.

In the woods Aurelien Argent (D12) was desperately hoping that his mentor would send him something to fix his injured leg but as he saw nothing coming he decided to tear a piece of his snow suit to try and stench the bleeding. He decides he needs to move otherwise he fears he will attract attention.

Alliance 2 has made camp by the lakes and spent the night making a fire with enough smoke to be clearly visible and hoping to eliminate a couple tributes. In the middle of the night a couple of parachutes fall around their camp. Flayn Adler (D8) received a jacket with a message from her mentor saying “the eagle’s wing shields the eye.” Flayn seems unfazed by the bizarre message and continues as normal. Erica Lawson (D12), Alexis Moon (D7) and Willow Blair (D9) all also received some warm jackets. As dawn breaks, causing the sun to reflect off the snow, Willow Blair (D9) and Alexis Moon (D7) go to find food armed with sticks, knives and icicles from the cave. Back at their camp the others start setting up snares to catch more food. They also make a large fire with smoke, yet again, purposefully visible. Whilst the others are hunting, Flayn (D8) and Ivy Leif (D7) keep watch. Another parachute falls for Flayn Adler. This time she receives some warm winter boots and a message from her mentor saying “eagle eye got this!” Flayn smiles as she reads the message.

Willow Blair (D9) and Alexis Moon (D7) come rushing back to the camp, clearly distressed, crying that “someone is coming!” and urging the others to prepare themselves. They quickly decide that they will kill him but are hoping that the snares they added the night before will do the job for them. Aurelien Argent (D12) comes into view limping from his injury. He clearly sees the smoke from the fire and accelerates his step, hoping the creators of the signal had moved on. But suddenly his foot gets caught in a snare and he screams as he falls and his ankle makes a distinctive snap sound of a bone breaking which resonates around the lakes.

As Aurelien falls Alliance 2 pounces with Willow Blair (D9) in its lead. She is armed with Flayn Adler’s (D8) dagger. Aurelien is desperately trying to untangle herself from the snare but is unsuccessful. Willow takes her dagger and stabs him in the heart, his cannon sounds instantly, marking the end of yet another tribute.

Alliance 2, decides his body will attract beasts quickly, so they decide to pack their camp and move somewhere else around the lakes. They pack up their snares and the backpack, with Alexis Moon (D7) carrying the bag, they blow out the fire and head to walk around the lake. On the way, Ivy Leif (D7) runs ahead to lookout for other tributes, and spots berries on a bush on the edge of the lake. She decides to reach for them but as she clasped her fingers around her first handful, her left foot slips, sending her tumbling downwards onto an ice lake. She hits the lake hard, but seems to have survived the fall. Trying to rejoin the others, she starts walking almost carelessly across the lake, and places her right foot on a crack, which enlarges as she puts pressure on it. Moments too late she decides the crack is too dangerous, and by that time she is already trapped under the ice. The girl can’t find the entrance which she fell into, and drowns. The rest of alliance 2 only watch from above as the cannon sounds.

Over by the cornucopia, Finn Sprack (D10) decides to try and find some more supplies. In the night she received a jacket which kept her from freezing during the night. As she makes her way towards it she sees that the cornucopia is not where it was the previous day. Instead the cornucopia sits on a hill, with a dangerous slope to access it. Finn sits at the bottom figuring out how to climb it. A couple minutes later she has her sleeping bag secured on her back. She carefully puts her feet on a ledge and pushes herself up all the way until she makes it up to the cornucopia. She lays on the ground catching her breath. When she gets up she sees that there really isn’t much left. Lucky for her she finds the last of the large backpacks. She opens it to find a pair of mittens which she puts on. She also finds a lonely knife, serrated, which would come in useful for getting firewood. She decides to stay at the cornucopia for now as it is safe on a hill and she has a perfect view of the entire arena and can see anyone heading in her direction.

Deena (D5), spent the night walking around. She is armed with her slingshot in case anyone comes to get her. But because she has no food or water she soon begins to be lightheaded and collapses unable to get up. She soon freezes to death, a cannon announcing her death.

By the ice caves, Isabel Brooks (D11) spent a restless night, paranoid that someone would come for her and jumping every time she heard a noise. In the morning she decides she should go find some food otherwise she will collapse. As she gets up she hears a noise coming from the bottom of the caves. Suddenly a big shape that she cannot make out comes charging at her. She runs away from it but trips on an icicle and falls on her knees. The beast claws Isabel straight in the eye. As he is about to finish her off, Lana Collins (D8) and Mave Shucka (D6) walk by. They decide to use their small knife to kill the beast. It leaves a heavily bleeding, barely conscious, Isabel Brooks (D11) in the arms of Lana Collins (D8) and Mave Shucka (D6).

DAY 3

another exciting day in the arena!

After a rather uneventful first two days in the arena things start to stir over in the career alliance.
Katia Stark (D4) is keeping guard along with Benvolio Carters (D1) and Lilith Naamah Abaddon (D1). Katia is clutching her trident looking very anxious. She’s decided that she is going to take her trident and leave. She doesn’t want to kill anyone, figuring that they’ll die off at some point.

“I can’t do this anymore.” Suddenly exclaimed Katia Stark (D4). Benvolio Carters (D1) and Lilith Naamah Abaddon (D1) stand up. Lilith says “the only way you're leaving this place is dead.”

“I don’t want anyone to get hurt.” Says Katia.
“If we let you get away and no one gets hurt the public isn’t going to be happy. Up to us to give them a good show,” says Lilith.

Lilith draws her scythe and Benvolio his sword ready for a fight. Katia runs in the direction of the back windows. Lilith and Benvolio decide to cross her behind the house. They run through the door and find Katia behind the house. Benvolio charged first. His sword and Katia’s trident clash in a large bang which shakes awake Lilah Daffy (D10) sleeping off her wounds of the previous day further away.

Lilith decides to end this pointless fight and goes behind Katia still fighting Benvolio. Katia gets her trident stuck in Benvolio’s thigh and pulls it back just as Lilith sticks her scythe into her back. She makes a little noise and a few seconds later the cannon goes off signalling her death.

Benvolio leans on Lilith, his thigh bleeding from the wound infected by Katia, as they make their way back inside. They sit down, and avoid Alec’s stare. They decide to get a few more hours of sleep before going to hunt a few more tributes.

Lilah Daffy (D10) who heard the fighting outside her hiding spot decides the chalets are not safe anymore with Ivy Lawrence (D5) still probably on her trail. The wounds on her hands are oozing with a gross liquid. She quietly heads out to get some snow on her hands on it as there is no sign her mentor is going to send her something to heal her wounds.

A little further away Ivy Lawrence (D5), has been hiding and binding her time, decides it's time she finishes Lilah off. She decides that attacking Lilah under the cover of the night is her best choice. When she left Lilah the previous day she saw in which direction she was heading so she knows exactly where to find her. Ivy sets out to end Lilah Daffy (D10) once and for all. Ivy is only armed with her knife she's had since the start of the games but she hopes that it should do. She finds Lilah outside putting snow on the wounds that Ivy made yesterday. Ivy decides to take her by surprise and runs up to Lilah and sticks her knife in her back. Lilah Daffy (D10) has no time to realise what happened that her cannon sounds. Ivy Lawrence decides it is not safe anymore and decides to hide in the trees by the chalets.

This cannon sound wakes up the remaining career tributes. They realise that if they want to kill some tributes they should get going. Suddenly the entire chalet starts to shake and beams from the roof start to fall. The careers gather their supplies and run out before being trapped under the beams. They are not fast enough that a beam falls on Alec Lightwood’s head (D4). The beam knocks him unconscious. The others are not fast enough to save him that another beam falls on his chest causing his instant death signalled by a cannon.

On his way out, Benvolio Carters (D1), already limping from his injury, trips over a large piece of wood, a distinctive snap heard from Benvolio’s leg. Led (D3) and Via Penhallow (D3) sit Benvolio down on the ground and start to put snow on his leg hoping to slow down the swelling.

Over by the ice caves, Mave Shucka (D6) and Lana Collins (D8) have tended to Isabel Brooks (D11) wounds with the first aid kit sent by Isabel’s mentor. When Isabel is able to walk and is conscious the girls (Alliance 3) decide to move around. They drag with them the carcass of the mutt they killed that has been serving as food. On their way to a different cave the girls pass a pack of sleeping feral dogs. They hide behind a wall of the cave and decide what to do next. They decide to wait it out and instead they go out to find sticks to fashion into weapons with the knives they have. Once they have finished they decide that now might not be a good time to attack the dogs. Instead they go find some berries. They assemble all their supplies and make camp a little further from the dogs hoping they weren’t smelled.

Over by the ice lakes Alliance 2 has made their camp around a fire. In the early hours of the morning a couple parachutes fall down delivering a fishing rod and a large loaf of bread. They decide to split the bread just as another parachute falls down in Flayn Adler’s (D8) lap. This time Flayn Adler received a first aid kit and the whole alliance is grateful for. Willow Blair (D9) and Flayn Adler (D8) decide to try their luck fishing. A couple of minutes later, something bites. Willow Blair (D9) pulls something out of the water. Suddenly she realises that it has sharp teeths and does not look like any fish the girls have ever seen. The fish mutt, snaps his fangs at Willow and grabs a part of her arm. She shouts in pain alarming the rest of the alliance trying to get water. Alexis Moon (D7) startled by Willow, falls and hits her head on the ice of the lake. Flayn sticks her rapier in the fish mutt and it lets go of Willow’s arm. Willow’s arm is bleeding all over the place and Flayn and Erica Lawson (D12) are running all over the place trying to save her alliance.

Finn Sprack (D10) is sitting comfortably in the cornucopia in the camp she’s made herself with her sleeping bag. That night as the faces of the dead tributes appear in the sky, she chuckles to herself, smiling at the idea that in her safe space she could easily win.

In the middle of the night, Lana Collins (D8), who is keeping guard suddenly collapses. She is shaking violently, has white foam coming out of her mouth and her eyes are rolling in the back of her head. Mave Shucka (D6) and Isabel Brooks (D11) try to shake her and give her some water. After a couple minutes she stops shaking and her cannon goes off signalling yet another death in the arena.

DAY 4

The fourth day in the arena and a feast!

On the morning of the fourth day in the arena a voice resonates through the arena, waking all the remaining tributes. The voice announces a feast: “Tributes. Welcome to the fourth day in the arena. There are thirteen of you left! From dawn you will be able to go to the cornucopia and find a bag with something you all desperately need! Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favour!’

The tributes await a feast at the cornucopia where they fought at the bloodbath. What many of them don’t know is that the cornucopia has been raised on a steep hill that is nearly impossible to climb.

Finn Sprack (D10) is at the cornucopia when she hears this. She has been up since dawn waiting for her backpack to appear but as the sun begins to rise she still sees nothing. She decides to pack her camp and sit outside the cornucopia, weapons in hand in case anyone comes around.

Over by the lakes, Alliance 2 patches themselves up. After an eventful day, Flayn Adler (D8) receives a package from her mentor. This time when she opens up the parachute she sees a message from her mentor that says “he would be proud of you.” She smiles as she reads the message and splits her bread. She eats one half and puts the other in the pocket of her jacket for later. When they heard the announcement they decided to not go to the feast as it would be too risky. She heads back to her camp to find her Erica Lawson (D12) working on Willow Blair’s (D9) injuries. Flayn decides to take care of Alexis Moon’s (D7) who is sitting on the floor with her head spinning from her recent concussion. Erica Lawson (D12), patches up Willow Blair (D9) by sucking the blood off her wound and spitting it out in order to draw out any poison. They then make a cervical collar for Alexis Moon (D7) and then all climb in a tree, secure themselves and camouflage themselves.

Over by the chalets the careers wake up. They sit around their camp and decide that Via Penhallow (D4), Lilith Naamah Abbadon (D1) and Willow Geller (D2) will go to the feast whilst Led (D3) and Benvolio Carters (D1), will stay at the chalets due to Benvolio’s injuries.

In the forest, as soon as she hears the message, Ivy Lawrence (D5) decides she needs to go straight away to the feast and not waste time. She clears her camp, hides any evidence that she was here and makes her way to the cornucopia. She walks and runs making it to the cornucopia just after the sun rise. However when she arrives at the cornucopia, she does not find it where she expected to. Instead it sits on a hill that makes Ivy very nervous about climbing it.
She spots a figure sitting at the cornucopia. She decides to stick to the surrounding forest and plans to take whoever is sitting at the cornucopia by surprise, hopefully kill them and run away. When she gets closer to the cornucopia she realises its Finn Sprack (D10) who is at the cornucopia. She decides to climb where the tail points as though not to be seen. She struggles to climb quietly and when rocks fall on the ground she pushes herself on the flank of the mountain in the hopes of not being discovered. Finally after what seemed hours of climbing she makes it to the top of the mountain. She takes cover on the metallic structure and arms herself with her knife ready to defend herself. She skims the walls of the cornucopia ready to bounce. When she is close enough to the entrance she sprints to grab a bag from the table with the number five painted on it and sprints back out. Finn Sprack (D10), hears the rumbling inside and decides to attack. She throws her spear at Ivy who ducks just in time to avoid being impaled. Ivy throws herself back and grabs the spear that sits behind her and throws it, albeit clumsily because it is not her weapon of choice and throws it. Her aim is a little off and it gets stuck in Finn’s shoulder instead of her chest. The girl screams in pain. Ivy decides to take that as her cue to leave. She grabs her bag and gets off the mountain by sliding down and runs away as fast as she can. Finn decides Ivy is not worth going after and decides to take the spear out of her shoulder, grab her bag from the cornucopia and making herself scarce before anyone else comes. She heads west to find shelter in the ice caves.

Alliance 3, now made up of only Isabel Brooks (D11) and Mave Shucka (D6), have been watching the fight between Finn and Ivy from the cover of a smaller mountain. Once the two girls have left and are far enough that they won’t see Mave and Isabel and attack her. Still, the girls are each armed with one knife. They decide that one of them should stand guard at the foot of the mountain. Because Isabel is from District 11, she is used to climbing so they decide she will go up to the cornucopia and grab their bags. Mave stands guard armed with just a knife.

The career alliance have finally made their way to the cornucopia and they are shocked to discover it has been moved from its position at the bloodbath. It now sits at the top of a mountain. Lilith (D1), leads the way armed with her scythe. Willow Geller (D2) stands at her side with Via Penhallow (D3) armed with her machete closing the ranks. They see Mave guarding the bottom of the cornucopia and decide she will be an easy target. Willow Geller (D2) decides she wants a kill to herself. She is armed with the stole she stole from Benvolio, he wasn’t going to need it. She runs ahead at full steam. Mave has no time to realise what is happening that Willow is already running at her, her sword pointing straight to her stomach. Mave ducks Willow’s first blow but doesn’t manage to avoid her second strike that Willow runs her sword through her eyes. Mave screams, alerting Isabel, who sees the fighting going on.
A couple of seconds later, a cannon goes off signalling the death of Mave Shucka. Isabel decides to not waste anymore time and grabs the District 6 and 11 bags and slides down the mountain and runs away in the direction of the glaciers.

After a successful kill, the careers desperately attempt to climb the mountain. When the sun starts to come down and the winds start blowing, Led (D3) and Benvolio (D1), are getting worried that they are not coming back. Suddenly in the distance a howl breaks the dead silence. Led and Benvolio exchange looks of worry. Led (D3), grabs her blowgun, the provisions they have left and decides she needs to leave. Benvolio looks frazzled because he can’t walk and is confused at Led’s strategy. Suddenly, he doesn’t realize it. Led grabs the spare sword he had and runs it through his heart as he is unable to defend himself. His cannon sounds instantly. A growl can be heard and Led decides not to waste anymore time and grabs her backpack and runs away. As she turns around, still running, she can see that some wolf mutts are running behind her chasing her. Suddenly Led trips on a root and falls on the ground dropping her sword. The wolf mutts are nearly upon her and lucky for her she still has her blowgun in her belt. She turns her body around and shoots one mutt and it falls with a little whine. She barely has time to reload that another one is on her and has grabbed her foot. She lets out a little cry and realises there is no point fighting. The wolves get on her and her screams rips through the air as her canon goes off just seconds later.

Isabel Brooks (D11), is walking in a random direction when she decides to open up the packs she fought out at the cornucopia. She finds a dagger, some trail mix and some dried meat in the District 6 bag. In the District 11 pack she finds a retractable sword, a large loaf of bread straight from her home and some dried fruit. She sits down and eats as much as she can. She then arms herself with the weapons she got and decides she is an easy target and that she should move. She makes her way through the wind and snow that have just started to rise. Without seeing more than two meters ahead of her. Clumsily she makes her way across the arena.

Up in a tree Alliance 2 sees a figure coming towards them. They talk among themselves and decide they will attack. They get ready to fight. Alexis (D7) and Erica (D12) climb down the tree first and will await help from Flayn (D8) and Willow (D9). Isabel Brooks (D11) makes her way straight under the tree. She looks around and realises that she is not where she aimed to be. She grabs her dagger and her sword and walks around. Suddenly Alexis (D7) and Erica (D12) jump on her. Isabel turns around and swings her sword cutting straight into Alexis’s (D7) stomach. Her cannon sounds instantly. Willow, who is angry that Isabel killed Alexis, rushes at her. Isabel ducks and misses. She cuts Willow’s leg and decides to go for one round. She cuts where she can see she was previously injured. Willow stumbles backwards as Falyn (D8) charges forward with her rapier in hand and sends it through Isabel’s throat. Isabel doesn’t have time to realise what has happened that she falls on the ground and her cannon closely follows, announcing her death.

Today we bring you the interviews of our top 8 tributes. Our reporters travelled all across Panem to interview the family and friends of all the tributes who made it into the top 8 of the 13th Annual Hunger Games.

Audezina and Eligos (District 1)

First we travelled to District 1 to meet Lilith Naamah Abaddon’s parents. Two very proud parents, her mother Audezina and her father Eligos.

Question for audezina: Audezina, how do you feel about the games this far? Are you proud of your daughter?

“Of course I’m proud of my beloved daughter,” Audezina smiled. “The games thus far have been immaculate. I trust my daughter will make it out alive but it’s always terrifying to see her face pop up on the screen. I never know what might happen.” She went ahead and carried on, “I think the gamemakers did a wonderful job this year with the arena. Very interesting choice as far as the ecosystem. Not to mention the mutts - terrifying. I would not want to come face to face with any of those creatures.” She smiled, “Lilith has done very well in the games and I expect she’ll be coming out. She isn’t known for giving up.”

question for father; eligos, if you could give your daughter one piece of advice what would it be?

“One piece of advice to my daughter?” He questioned while raising a brow. “My daughter is particularly intelligent to begin with. I don’t know any advice I could offer that she hasn’t already thought of.” He spoke highly of her despite the secret mistreatment he had inflicted upon her for the duration of her life. “If an answer is necessary I’d tell her to remember what she’s here for. To recall that she isn’t here to make friends and come out on top - which means, yes, in this event killing may be necessary. Especially running with the Careers.” He smiled and looked to the audience, “My daughter will not be of disappointment, to District 1 or the Capitol. I have a great deal of faith in her and look how far she has gotten already.” He went on and on, bragging about her, before interrupted and informed they’d have to move on.

Barney and Laurie (District 2)

We then travelled to District 2 to meet with Willow Geller’s father and her sister Laurie. They are both very proud of Willow and spent their time talking her praises.

question for Laurie: do you think your sister has what it takes to come home?

Of course. Willow has every chance to win and come home. She has been training at the training center since she was 8 and our big sister Emma won a few years ago so she gave Willow a lot of advice.

question for barney: Barney, if there was one piece of advice you could give your daughter right now what would it be?

Willow doesn't forget that you are smarter than them. The tributes are more stupid to each other. Show Panem that Willow Geller is the winner of the 13th Hunger Games!

Aaron and Celeste (District 3)

We then met with Via’s older brother Aaron and her mother Celeste who talked proudly of their girl.

question for Aaron: Aaron, if you could say anything to your sister what would it be?

I would tell her that I'm proud of her and I miss her so very much. I believe that she has the strength to do good and no matter what she does I will be proud and support her. I want her to not lose faith and know that everyone back home wants her to win and come back. She can’t let what happened to Led cloud her judgement and she needs to stay focused and be wary of her allies.

question for Celeste: what are your feelings regarding this year's games?

I do find the arena this year to be quite interesting and pretty. However, I must say I have been deeply worried throughout for my daughter. The other competitors this year have proven to be very brave and I know some have made some tough decisions but I am proud of all of them nonetheless.

Elizabeth and Isabelle (District 5)

Our reporters sat down in district 5, with Ivy’s mother Elizabeth and her sister Isabelle who shared all their hopes and dreams for Ivy.

question for Elizabeth: do you think your daughter could make it out on top?

Yes, I have faith in my little girl. She’s made it so far and I believe that if she keeps up with her thing she’s got going on now, she will make it out. She is a strong girl.

question for Isabelle: Isabelle, what do you think of the games so far?

I think that it’s been very eventful though very stressful. Every time Ivy appears on screen I get very anxious over the fact that literally anything could happen and she’d be gone. But she’s got this. I know she does.
But since there are eight tributes left I think it will be crazy. Everyone’s so close to winning yet so far away and I think they’ll do anything to survive.

Ferris and Mrs Oldfield (District 8)

Then we travelled to District 8 to talk to Flayn Adler’s father Ferris, who was tricky to track down but sang the praises of Flayn and hopes for their future. We also met with the women who raised Flayn and her now deceased brother Jett, Mrs Oldfield.

question for ferris: Ferris, do you regret the actions that you took towards your daughter? if she comes back would you change anything regarding your relationship with Flayn?

I know it’s too late to say anything at this point, but I’d just like to say I’m sorry. we were starving, my wife died, and then I'm left with two blind kids without a penny to spare - what else could I do? I won't say I regret what I’ve done, because I’ve met the love of my life, Sharon, and now we have two beautiful children of our own. when jett was reaped, i was so terrified and confused - what should I say to my kid who is heading towards his own death? So I kept silent, because my apologies wouldn’t matter at that point. It broke my heart to see him being tortured by the careers at the feast before they killed him - and yet some part of me was secretly glad that my two children are safe and sound at home with me. I had to try my best to conceal my shock when flayn volunteered this year - and the impact of knowing that I'll lose both of my kids are too painful to bear. I had to sum up a lot of courage to come up here today, and I need to thank my wife and my dear children for their support. Here's a bit of news that would shock you: the girl who flayn bravely volunteered for, the one with striking resemblance to her brother jett: she is my daughter, and Flayn’s half-sister, Mills. if flayn hadn’t volunteered, it would be Mills who is now stranded in the arena, who would surely die on the first day as she couldn’t bear to hurt even a fly. And now I owe Flayn everything. She displayed all the virtues i lack in the arena, especially bravery and determination. She was so ruthless, so damaged, so beautiful... Her world collapsed just to make mine perfect, protected inside my safe little bubble while she has never known comfort or security all her life. “He will be proud of you” - I personally requested her mentor to send her this message along with her sponsor gifts, because I’m sure that jett will be smiling upon her in the heavens, feeling proud, and so am I. Flayn - if you manage to win, if you manage to come home... I swear I’ll never turn my back on you again. I know what I’ve done to you is unforgivable, but I'll do my best to make it up to you, because you deserve that at the least. I’m sure you’ll adore Mills and Eddon, even though they could never replace the empty hole that jett left in your heart. Maybe time will heal your scars... who knows?? All I want to say is, you have family now. And remember this - in the arena, even if all hope seems lost, you’ll never be alone.

question for Mrs Oldfield: how do you feel towards this year's games?

horrified, of course, but also very worried and scared. flayn and jett were like children to me, and my heart broke when the poor boy was reaped to go in the arena. he was such a fine, young man, and very brave too... he didn't so much as yell or cry out loud when he was in pain, being mutilated by the careers. last year's games changed flayn so much, i could barely recognize her anymore. she used to stick to her brother like how a moth is attracted to light, even though flying too close means it will burn its wings and die ablaze. flayn never laughed anymore, and whenever she saw some of his belongings lying around the house, she would just shut up and not eat a morsel for days. i hoped and hoped that flayn wouldnt do anything stupid at the reaping, but how could i blame her, when they broadcast the details of her brother's death up on the big screen, bringing back her pain afresh? In district eight there is hardly a blade of grass, you see, so I was hoping the arena would contain some elements that remind her of home. if she doesn't manage to come back... no, of course she will. I have complete faith in her. the desire for revenge in coursing through her veins like fuel, though i hope it won't make her do anything reckless. ever since she saw jett's death on the tv, she seemed to forget that she is human. she would lock herself in her room for hours and launch herself off cliffs and trees, doing exercises every day until I feared she would collapse due to exhaustion, but she never did. i should've known that she was preparing for the games, but i was too consumed in my own grief, i didn't know... flayn, if you ever see this, you can be assured that the whole district is rooting for you!! we're scraping up every penny we can spare to send you more sponsor gifts, in hopes of bringing you back home safely. we don't care about bringing glory to our district nor what wealth and luxuries that we may receive - we all know you've gone through a lot, and you deserve some peace. there are a lot of vicious tributes this year, and the career alliance particularly scared us to death - but now that there's only eight tributes left, and her alliance is still standing strong, i'm sure that with all her experience going on adventures with jett since they were toddlers, she'll manage it just fine. On behalf of district 8, I would also like to thank flayn's mentor for controlling the flow of gifts so effectively and finding as many sponsors as she can to keep her alive. none of us have given up on you - not even jett. whenever you feel isolated, just turn around and take a look over your shoulder: he's never left your side, even if he's reduced to a mere shadow. do whatever it takes to come home - we'll be waiting.

Eloise and Aster (District 9)

Our next district was District 9, where we met with Willow Blair’s older sister Eloise and her mother Aster who only want the games to end and bring her daughter home.

question for eloise: do you think your sister has what it takes to make it to the top 4?

Absolutely, she’s smart and she’s good under pressure, although she's injured right now I know she’ll be strong and pull through. I miss her a lot and I just want her to get home

question for aster: Aster, what thoughts have been going through your head whilst watching these games?

It’s definitely hard to talk about, I have been trying to avoid watching the gruesome parts of the games and having Eloise tell me about what happens. I haven’t been able to sleep well since the reaping, I just want her to know that I love her and miss her so much.

Mayor Oliver and Anneliese (District 10)

We then met with the mayor of District 10, Oliver Sprack who took some time off from his busy day to talk to us alongside his other daughter Anneliese.

question for Oliver: Oliver, how does it feel to see your daughter in the arena?

I don’t even know what to say! Seeing my daughter makes me feel truly proud. We haven’t had the best relationship since her mother passed away, in fact, I've been very consumed with my job of being mayor. Seeing her in the arena makes me proud as a father and as a mayor of my great district. She is a wonderful young lady and she will embody the values of a victor when she wins. Panem is very lucky to have this girl be a part of the Games this year, and I have total faith she will be coming back to us.

question for anneliese: if you could say one thing to your sister what would it be?

My sister has taken care of me for as long as I can remember. I’m only seven, but she raised me and my siblings. I would just tell her that I'm so proud of her, and I miss her warm hugs. I know she can win. It makes me sad knowing that she’s alone in there, and I just wish I could give her a hug. I know that soon, she will be back in District 10.

Cree and Adrian (District 12)

Finally we came to District 12 where we met Erica’s younger brother Cree and Erica’s best friend Adrian who talked to us about Erica and how it felt to see her in the arena.

question cree: if you could say one thing to your sister what would it be?

Well I guess if i had the chance, i’d say... we need you. It’s just not the same here in 12. We need you to fight. We need you to fight for us. For me

question for Adrian: Adrian, how does it feel to see your best friend in the arena? Are you proud?

At first it’s strange. You know seeing someone you’ve known for so long do things like that, the killing I mean . But I guess it doesn’t surprise me, she’s always been a fighter. She always will be, so in that sense yes i’m proud. Proud to be her friend and how far she’s come.
