I’m just trying to touch your soul type with this playlist. As big boi said, “sweeter than a plate of yams with extra szzzzrrruuppp”. Music, 70s/80s R&B and Jazz has saved my life through these times. I try to use the some of the best samples rappers used in the 2000s, I.e Pete Rock, No I.D., Madlib and Kanye. This music touches every inch of your body to overcome any bullshit. ENJOY!

It’s been a crazy year! Music has helped me keep my cool. This playlist is for those who just need a damn break. Take a day off from work, put your phone on DND, light some incense and water those plants of yours. This playlist sets the vibe to match. Take a deep breath and press play!

Most of my playlist are rooted in nostalgia, you’re gonna hear some classics mixed with a lil new here and there. The weather is finally getting better, so here’s a playlist to listen to while you’re getting dressed for links and drinks. This is not a turn up playlist, I repeat this is not a turnup playlist!

With this playlist, I truly just wanted to pay homage to the chop & screwed sound and culture. I’ve always been a fan of Texas/southern music and everything going on down there. I also just love hearing other artist from different places tap into that sound and get creative on their own projects. The Chopped & Screwed sound and culture is really a whole other world.
