Hi there! My name is Hannah Powers and I am obsessed with all things art, marketing, business, and helping you grow your creative business. I taught myself how to grow my arts business @seizetheclaystudios from a couple hundred followers in the beginning of 2020 to 26,000 (what?!)

I went to school for marketing, ceramics, and graphic design and have been working in social media marketing for various small businesses over the past 5 years. Eventually, I realized I wanted to take the plunge and grow my own ceramic business. SO, I quit my stable full time job a month before the pandemic hit (uh oh) to pursue working for myself & starting a brand of my own. I was obviously terrified that I made the wrong decision once the world shifted but I told myself I would make it work (and I did)! I now fully support myself with my ceramic business and couldn't be happier.

With my experience in working in marketing for myself and for other businesses, I've learned SO much and I'm ready to spill allll my secrets (if you're willing to listen)! Everything I taught myself was through trial and error, but I want to make the process as easy as possible for you to grow your creative business.
