Born and raised in the Westside & Crenshaw District heart of Los Angeles, under the protective wings of a single mother and alongside a younger sister— Gwendolyn made her way through a young black girl’s life with brains, beauty, & spirit. Equipped with vision and passion that needed to be expressed she began dabbling in modeling in 2014, finding that she enjoyed the authentic creativity she could pour into a shoot alone with styling, makeup and movement almost of which she learned to do herself on a low budget. She continued to build her portfolio and personal brand even through becoming a mother in 2016, only finding more ground her in both her motherhood and modeling. Gwendolyn (and her daughter Milan as well) both signed to EMG Models in LA for agency management.

During the 2020 pandemic, she began creating her own natural/organic rooted skin/body care products (facial oil, whipped body butters, etc) sourcing from a longtime passion as a teen for healthy skin. She accumulated 6 certifications from licensed beauty professionals and dental assistants for Brow & Teeth services before attending an Esthetician program in 2024 for her license. She now manages her own clothing & beauty brands.
