Screwed Up since 1994

Born in October 1994, Luis Angel Castaneda-Madrigal was raised in Texas, and from there, grew a deep appreciation for hip-hop culture. Growing up during a time where Houston had likes of Paul Wall, Slim Thug, South Park Mexican, the southern swagger was adopted into his music. He found further inspiration in his trials and tribulations and decided to hone his lyricism by moving back out to Los Angeles later in his life. After an unsuccessful mixtape project release, his single “Woodgrain” gave him recognition and a small fanbase he decided to build off of for his upcoming long awaited debut album “Son of Cynthia.” Having passed so many obstacles in his life he found something to truly live for aside of his wife and two children. He is now utilizing sheer will and determination to prove that Texas culture has not changed and is still living inside him.
