My Top Places (Charleston SC)

Charleston is Full of Beauty and History

Charleston South Carolina has so many beautiful places to go and tour. I lived there my whole childhood and I still haven’t done everything. I’m super excited to share with you my favorite places !

Coastal Expeditions

Kayaking in Charleston was my first time ever and it was beyond amazing !! We saw dolphins and my kayak got bumped by one of them! It was out of this world.

Deep Water Vineyard

For all my wine lovers and tasters, you don’t want to miss this amazing place when you come to Charleston! Located on Wadmalaw Island; where you’ll also find the beautiful Angel Oak Tree.

Angel Oak Tree

Trees are so beautiful, let’s not forget that we need them to breathe. This historic landmark took my breath away when I saw it for the first time, as I’m sure it’ll do with you once you see it in person.

Isle of Palms

The Isle of Palms is one of Charleston’s top destination especially for weddings.
When I use to run the beach in the mornings I have seen such beautiful brides with their grooms. The beach alone is remarkable as well. Come on out to the Isle of Palms and enjoy the beauty.

Historic Landmarks

Since I’m a huge History Fanatic, visiting these two gems brought me back in time.
Nothing compares to having such an amazing piece of history at the palm of my hands. Take a Ferry to Fort Sumter and drive on down to Fort Moultrie where you can revisit what took place during The War of 1812; these two monuments are the guardians of Charleston Harbor.

Fort Moultrie

Fort Moultrie is located on Sullivan’s island, I loved going here because the restaurant Poe’s Tavern is near by. The perfect place to eat once you step out from history.

Folly Beach

Folly Beach is another gem in this amazing city. When you visit Folly, you have to stay at Tides hotel, during the 4th of July they put on amazing show. Hint: please purchase everything 4 months in advance if you want to make this event. We learned the hard way lol !

River Front Park, North Charleston, SC

This park is where I spent many days because not only is it peaceful but who doesn’t love to be on the water. It’s a place for the young and old, the perfect spot for a nice quiet stroll. This park features a playground for the children, a wading fountain and also historic images on the stone walls (located near the wading fountain).
