I’m Tyeshia - a multifaceted chemist located in the SF Bay Area. This just means I delve a little deep into a few hobbies but my “9-5” involves me working in a lab somewhere.

Currently I’m working on my Master’s in Chemistry at SJSU, working in biotech, and occasionally (due to impacted schedule) brewing beer! I’m a self proclaimed food enthusiast who likes to explore the world through her palette. I also tend to ferment other nice things, other than beer!

I’m a huge advocate for underrepresented groups of people in STEM! I like to participate in conversations that shed light on the existence of those groups and creating avenues to increase the visibility and achievement of said groups.
