If you’re here, you probably already know some basic information about me. Here is a little space for me to tell you more details.

While Instagram discovered me in 2024, Uncatechized Catholic began in 2018. Pregnant with my third child in Washington, I realized my self-catechesis needed structure, leading me to pursue a theology degree for a comprehensive understanding. Feeling behind and isolated in navigating complex topics, God laid one on me: if I struggled, others likely did too. Recognizing fellow cradle Catholics feeling lost, I envisioned creating a space for us to turn to when desiring a deeper grasp of our faith. It took years to work out the mode and medium, but here we are — and I plan to keep the ball rolling.

My degree has also taken me years. If I play my cards right (AKA - study like a mad woman) I’ll graduate from Franciscan University in May of 2025! 🎉 After that, it’s on to higher theological education!

For now, I live in Arizona with my husband, Marc, and our 5 remarkable children (no pun intended). In no time at all, we’ll be gearing up for a likely-cross-country move to follow my husband where ever he attends law school in the fall. This is a huge change for our family — please pray for us! We still haven’t worked out ALL the details, but I know — as always — God will provide… and I have a feeling His providence is why we’re here today.
