Alicia Stafford-Bush

Alicia, better known as Eleanor Rose, began writing at the age of thirteen, drawing on the trials and tribulations of her life to turn her pain into power. Her passion for writing has only enhanced over the years, being both a spectator and participant in the adversities of life.

Through writing, Alicia aims to create pieces that address challenges in life which readers can relate to, and to inspire others to follow their dreams and be their most authentic self despite these challenges.

Unique Greeting Cards 21 was formally established in 2021 with the premise to visually and poetically support those who may feel
a little lost in the world!

Following on from her Unique Greeting Cards Collection, Alicia added Key Rings & Books as a way of bringing more relatable keepsakes for those who may need a gentle reminder of their inner strength!

In 2023, after launching my Greeting
Cards & Key Rings collection, I sourced inspiration from my own work by collating some of my most popular themes.

Drawing on inspiration through my own life's obstacles & puzzling moments, and being inspired by my very first self discovery journal that was gifted to me for my 16th birthday, it became one of my many dreams to create something similar but with my own unique influence.
Every themed chapter in this book has a page for your imagination to free style, using cut out pictures, just like a mini vision board, and a page where you can write a bit about yourself to tie in with resonating themes, such as your dreams, your identity, your inspirations, or perhaps your goals. There are no right or wrong answers, Just be your complete self with this book & have fun!

I have always said that if you have the ability to write and have a story to tell, write it! Even if it's only for you to read! The next step may or may not be to expand your wings with this and to step out of your comfort zone when it feels comfortable for you!
However I have adapted another metaphor to this, and that is
'timing is everything,' thus it is now my time to spread my wings and go out of my comfort zone.

What started as a out secret hobby of mine, soon turned into my passion & eventually turned into my true vocation! I find writing as a way of great escapism, a way to productively and cathartically deal with all the ups and downs of life. Writing has helped me learn how to gain perspective and empathy, as I have navigated my way through lessons of acceptance on how to be one's true self.

Following on from launching my greeting cards and key ring collection, with the premise to visually & poetically support those who may feel a little lost in the world, it has also been a dream of mine to tell my story in a very unique way with my poetry in chronological order followed by the transparency on each piece.

The M version of 'So Transparent' isn't for the faint hearted, as there are quite a few pieces that may be a trigger to some, as I have poetically dealt with some harrowing experiences. However some of these pieces may inspire conversation with your family on what not to do! There is also a Helpine directory at the back of the book and I also encourage anyone who may be struggling to seek help if need be.
