Breathing New Life into Old Home Decor

My story begins with a little show called Flea Market Flip. It's a show where two teams have to take flea market finds and create something new out of them to then be sold for a profit. The concept is quite simple yet so fascinating. Ever since moving into my new house with my family, I've been interested in decorating on a budget. Then COVID-19 hit in March 2020. With the extra time I had, I really had the chance to dive deeper into creating my own home decor business with items salvaged from thrift stores, yard sales, etc. and giving it a new lease on life!

Not only has this interest given me the chance to start a new business but it really helped me through a depressive state in my life. I felt like my creativity fire had been extinguished but seeing how many others on Flea Market Flip could transform ugly ducklings into beautiful swans ignited a creative flame deep down. I'm so grateful to that God and that show to be given this wonderful opportunity to start over creatively speaking.
