I made the choice. I am taking a leap of faith and starting a new journey for the better. My name is Valerie Leroe. I am 19 years old. I am a full-time college student and daycare worker. I have suffered with social anxiety since freshman year of High school and I have let it define who I am. I was recently approved for an apartment and I need to find a way to stay afloat of bills and expenses without changing my school life. I am going to have tons of expenses including student loans, eventually. No one wants to be in debt or struggling, therefore I am making a step in the right direction and using this opportunity from my phone before I hit rock bottom. I am done asking others for money when I am struggling, and I am done relying on other people to keep my life on track. I am making this choice to better myself and my future and saying “I am done. I am in control. I am taking back my life”.
