Valerie Dezarae
Founder of the Burnout Project , Outreach & Community Building Consultant
¡Bienvenidos!
I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. I have a love and appreciation for my family and our culture, especially being a second generation Latina.
Me encanta explorar y educarme en la cultura Mexicana y tengo un gran amor y honor en ser Latina Americana.
I have been an orthopedic surgery PA for 9 years and have a genuine love & passion for it. I have worked as an operative PA and have experience in ortho trauma, upper & lower extremity joint replacements, spine & limb salvage care.
I am very involved in the healthcare community and spend a lot of my free time networking and managing social events that advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, general wellness & burnout prevention for healthcare providers. I am the CME Coordinator for CTPAS, cofounder & administrator for Austin Healthcare Professionals and founder of The Burnout Project.
Follow along as I share ways to lead a positive work- life balance and introduce you to advocates in the community.
Together, we can collaborate & create the best version of ourselves.
