Village Bakes started as a personal challenge. For my birthday I bought myself a basic cake decorating set on Amazon so I could try to teach myself how to make all of those fancy cakes that I saw on social media.

Through lots of practice and even more butter, I grew my new little hobby into a business that I named Village Bakes!

Why such an obscure name? I sat down and thought long and hard about what to call my business. I wanted it to encompass not only me, but everyone who makes what I do possible. My friends, my family, my Village.
They say "It Takes a Village" to make dreams happen, so let my Village help you make your dream celebration happen!
