Hello Walworth County!

My name is Michael Domino, and I will be running this November for the Register of Deeds position at the Government Center in Elkhorn.

I wanted to use this opportunity to share with the residents of Walworth County a little bit about myself. I’d like to start with my family. I’m married to my wonderful wife, childhood sweetheart, and girl down the street Cristina. She has given me 5 precious gifts that fill my life with love and joy every day.

Our 5 amazing children, Kamryn, Bhentleigh, Mhaddyx, Pyhper, and Popeigh are all students attending schools in the county. With one in Highschool, one in Middle School, and three in Elementary School we have our hands full and wouldn’t change it for the world. My wife is a full-time homemaker and keeps our crazy busy life right on schedule. I currently work for Walworth County in the Treasury department, and have really enjoyed getting to know everyone, and the important roles we all play in helping serve our community. With this new opportunity at the Register of Deeds Department, I would like to give back to the community that has given my family so much in return.

When I’m not at work, my family and I are spending time with one another. Getting involved in many opportunities provided by our County. Our kids are members of the Flame Throwers 4H Chapter in Genoa City. Come out to the Walworth County Fair and say hello, as our children will be showing their
projects as they do each year! We love to spend time with our shooting sports team the Wilmot Shooting Club as well.

My older 3 children are all shooting athletes, in the local, state, and national level. That is our second family, so we love to volunteer our time to coaching and supporting our team. We also volunteer time to our local Church in Bloomfield to help with their Youth Ministry Program. I would suggest staying for
a service and lunch. Pastor Jeremiah and the church kitchen ladies do an amazing job!

We often wonder how we can make an actual difference in the Country we live in. It would seem almost impossible to even consider with the current political climate, how we can get good men and women in positions that directly affect our friends and neighbors. For most, to even consider a Senator, or
Congressional seat seems so out of reach. And for an everyday regular guy with a family like me, the solution is right here in our beautiful community. Our local elected positions are what directly affect us every day.

Your vote’s true power lies in your local elections. This is where a small number of individuals make the most impact in your community. So, I would like to ask everyone who reads this, to consider casting your vote for me. Not because of a political party, but because I’m just a regular guy. A friend, neighbor, co-worker, a family man at the fair with his family, just trying to make a difference in the community they live in.
